Assembly
Step 1 - Connection
- Switch off your projector and wait a few minutes until the projector has completely reached standby mode.
- Disconnect the existing connection cable of your projector from the socket and then from your projector.
- Connect the plug of the wireless trigger to your projector (adapter may be required).
- Connect the socket of the trigger with a classic power cable with an earthing pin (IEC C13 type) and insert the plug into the socket.
- Fully retract your screen or pull-out unit.
The LED on the front of the trigger should light up red. If this is not the case, disconnect the cable from the power supply, carefully check the connection again. If this does not work, contact your dealer or celexon directly.
Step 2 - Pair the Trigger to the Screen/Drawer
Attention: Ensure in advance that the extension path of the screen or shelf is free of obstacles to avoid damage or injury when teaching the trigger! The shelf must be secured beforehand so that it cannot tip over and fall down. If possible, carry out this step with 2 people.
- Disconnect the screen/shelf from the power supply for at least 10 seconds and ensure that you have free access to the power connection.
- Reconnect the mains plug of the screen/shelf to the mains supply. Within the first 10 seconds, press the small 'pairing' push-button on the trigger. It is best to use an open paper clip. Pay attention to your timing. The device exits the pairing mode after 10 seconds.
- The screen/drawer confirms correct teach-in with a brief 'up' and 'down' or 'forward' and 'back' motor movement.
- This completes the pairing process.
Step 3 - Teach the Trigger to the Projector
Caution: Avoid looking into the lens of your projector, as the light source can dazzle your eyes and this can lead to injuries to the eyes.
- Start your projector and press the ‘Setup' button for 1 second with the open paperclip at the exact moment the projector lamp is switched on.
- The LED on the trigger lights up blue briefly and the screen or the shelf is extended.
- This completes the teach-in process for the projector.
If you switch off the projector, the screen/shelf will retract after a short time.
Step 4 - Switching the Direction of Rotation on the Trigger
The output of the trigger may differ depending on whether it is used for a screen or shelf. As a result, the trigger might switch the devices the wrong way round (e.g., the screen retracts when you switch on the projector and moves out when you switch off the projector).
To change this behavior, you can change the output of the trigger:
- Use an unfolded paper clip to press the ‘Learning' button on the trigger for 5 seconds. The LED flashes briefly and the output is changed.
The installation is now complete.
