Please refer to the ncluded Qu ck Start Gu de to set your dev ce up faster. Prepar ng Your F nestraM ner 1. Download the Hel um App. Search "Hel um Hotspot" n the Apple Store and Google Play. 2. IMPORTANT: Wh le s gn ng nto the Hel um App, please make sure to note down the 12 keywords prov ded by the Hel um App. We would h ghly recommend that you use the keywords note card and pen we have sent n the box. 3. Open the package and make sure all tems are n the box. (See above: What's n the Box.) 4. Screw the prov ded antenna onto the antenna jack located on the F nestraM ner. 5. Do not power your F nestraM ner up before plac ng t n the preferred locat on. 6. If you choose to connect your F nestraM ner to the nternet v a the ethernet port you may do so now. For W -f look at the sect on "Connect ng your F nestraM ner." Preferably place your F nestraM ner near a w ndow w th m n mal external obstruct ons. 2. If you prefer you can attach your F nestraM ner d rectly to a sturdy w ndow glass pane w th the reusable m cro-suct on base. 3. To act vate the m cro-suct on, exam ne your F nestraM ner base and carefully remove the protect ve plast c f lm on your m cro-suct on surface w th a pa r of tweezers. 4. To remove and move F nestraM ner just grasp the edges f rmly. Pull and tw st t to l ft the edge from the surface. L ft to remove. 5. You can w pe the dust away from the m cro-suct on to refresh the adhes ve property of the surface. 6. For a better performance do not place the F nestraM ner near metal meshes, screens or other large metall c objects. Place away from other electron c dev ces. Connect ng your F nestraM ner 1. Power up F nestraM ner us ng the ncluded power supply. 2. WARNING: Please wa t 2 to 3 m nutes for your F nestraM ner to boot up before start ng the nstallat on process. Do not unplug the F nestraM ner dur ng the set-up process. 3. If you choose to connect v a w -f follow the nstruct ons n Hel um App as n d cated n Step 4. 4. Press the "+" button n the Hel um App to add your gateway and follow the n-App nstruct ons. Troubleshoot ng 1. Make sure Bluetooth s on and the phone s connected to the Internet wh le sett ng up F nestraM ner. 2. Make sure that the Hel um App has the Locat on perm ss ons enabled. These can be found under App Info > Perm ss ons > Locat on 3. Make sure you have downloaded the latest vers on of the Hel um App from the store.
