Tubes
The tubes are in a separate small package inside the box.
Stand Installation
The stands need to be assembled and the screws tightened to prevent them from falling off. Insert the stands and drum pads into their respective positions and then tighten the screws. Note: The tom and snare have different functions and need to be installed correctly.
Drum Pad Installation
Handle with care to avoid pinching your fingers. According to the diagram, insert the three tom-toms and one snare drum into the tubes and secure with the plastic tightening screws.
Installing Cymbals, Control Module, Pedal Placement
Proceed with caution to avoid pinching your fingers. The diagram shows the placement of cymbals, the control module, and pedals onto the assembled stand.
Connections
After opening the package, please immediately check to ensure all items are included. If anything is missing, contact your dealer. The diagram shows how to connect the components. Insert the parallel port plug into the host box and then into the corresponding striking component hole according to the English label on the head of the connecting cable. Components labeled include: Hi-hat, Crash, Ride, Tom1, Control box, Tom2, Tom3, Snare, Hi-hat pedal, Kick drum pedal.
Control Module Port Diagram
The control module features several ports:
- Port 1: Audio Input Port: Allows the connection of external audio sources (e.g., MP3 players, smartphones) for playback.
- Port 2: Headphone Port: Enables monitoring of playing without disturbing others when not connected to external speakers.
- Port 3: USB MIDI Port: Connects to other MIDI-equipped devices for learning, performing, composing, and storing functionalities. When connected to a computer or tablet, the device's audio output needs to be connected to the drum control module's audio input port to synchronize sound effects.
- Port 4: Audio Output Port: Connects to powered speakers or large sound systems.
- Port 5: Power Cord Connection: Connect the power cord to the module and a 100-240V household electrical outlet. Unplug the power cord and store it properly when the product is not in use for an extended period.
Operation Guide
KIT: Drum Kit Mode
Upon powering on, the device defaults to Drum Kit Mode, indicated by a lit key indicator showing "001" (Drum Kit 1). There are 25 drum kits in total: 1-20 are preset, and U01-U05 are user-created. Drum kits can be adjusted using the number wheel or the [-] or [+] keys.
TRIGGER
Users can adjust trigger parameters such as threshold, sensitivity, and crosstalk control by pressing the [TRIGGER] key. Threshold ranges from 1-10, sensitivity from 1-15, and crosstalk control from 0-9. These can be adjusted via the numerical wheel.
Plus and Minus Keys
Used to select drum kits and return to the KIT page. Pressing both keys for 3 seconds resets to factory settings.
Song
There are 10 built-in songs, displayed as "Sxx" (range 1-10), indicated by a lit key indicator.
Tempo
Pressing the [TEMPO] key enters the tempo adjustment page, displaying "xxx" with a range of 30-280 BPM.
Click (Metronome)
Short press the [CLICK] key to play and stop the metronome. Press and hold the [CLICK] key for 3 seconds to adjust the time signature (e.g., "4-4", representing 4 beats per measure, or time signatures like 1/4-9/4, 1/8-9/8).
Record
Pressing the [REC] key starts recording. The indicator lights up and flashes during recording. Pressing [REC] again stops recording.
Playback Stop
Controls playback and stop for recordings or songs.
Voice
Allows adjustment of sound, volume, and pitch. Parameters are displayed with a lit key indicator. Sound ranges from 1-200, Volume from 0-32, Pitch from -8 to 8, and Transposition from -6 to 6. These can be adjusted via the numerical wheel.
Creating User Drum Kit
Press the VOICE key, then hit a drum pad to change its sound. Navigate through sound, volume, pitch, and transposition settings using the VOICE key and adjust with the encoder. To save, press the number wheel key until U01 flashes, rotate to select a user kit number (U01-U05), and press again to save.
