LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS

1. Never pull or yank on cord or appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to your nearest Wal-Mart store.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.

POLARIZED PLUG:

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

HOW TO USE

ATTACHING BEATERS:

Be sure appliance is unplugged. Align notches on beaters with slots in hand unit, and push until they lock in place. Insert plug into any standard household outlet. Place beaters directly into container holding ingredients to be mixed. Set the speed control lever to the 1 (Low) position to start blending, then increase to 2 (Low-Medium), 3 (Medium), 4 (Medium-High) or 5 (High).

REMOVING BEATERS:

Slide speed control to “OFF” or “0” position. Unplug appliance. Push down on the eject button to eject beaters.

BEATER STORAGE CLIP:

To store the beaters together with the hand mixer, use the beater storage clip. Snap the beaters onto the beater storage clip, then insert the beater storage clip into the slots (holes) in the hand unit.

HEEL REST:

The integrated heel rest allows the beater to rest on the countertop.

BOWL SUPPORT:

Allows batter to fall into the mixing bowl rather than on the countertop by resting the hand mixer over the mixing bowl with the integrated bowl support.

This hand mixer is capable of blending several ingredients. Simply place beaters in container holding ingredients, and switch on. Use the mixer to make cakes, pies, whipped topping, mashed potatoes and much more. The 5 speeds allow you to mix a variety of foods.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if servicing is needed.

TO CLEAN:

NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR HOUSING IN WATER. First, be sure unit is unplugged. Eject beaters from the unit and wash normally. Wipe motor housing with a damp cloth or sponge.

TO STORE:

Unplug unit; store in its box in a clean, dry place. Never store while it is hot or plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

This product carries a warranty that it will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep your original sales receipt.

IMPORTANT: This warranty does not cover damages resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, the affixing of any attachments not provided with the product, loss of parts, or subjecting the appliance to any but the specified voltage. (Read directions carefully.)

If service is required during the warranty period, properly pack your unit. We recommend using the original carton and packing materials. Return the product to your nearest Wal*Mart store with the sales receipt. A replacement or refund may be offered at the discretion of Wal*Mart. INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN

CÓMO USAR:

COLOCAR LAS PALETAS BATIDORAS:

Asegúrese de que el aparato esté desenchufado. Alinee las pestañas en las paletas con las ranuras ubicadas en la unidad manual y presione hasta que queden fijadas en su lugar.

Inserte el enchufe en cualquier tomacorriente doméstico estándar. Coloque las paletas directamente en el recipiente que contenga los ingredientes a batir. Coloque el nivel de control de velocidad en la posición 1 (bajo) para empezar a batir, luego aumente a 2 (bajo medio), 3 (medio), 4 (medio - alto) o 5 (alto).

RETIRAR LAS PALETAS:

Deslice el control de velocidad en “OFF” o en la posición “O”. Desenchufe el aparato. Presione el botón de liberación para retirar las paletas.

SUJETADOR DE ALMACENAMIENTO PARA BATIDORA:

Para guardar las batidoras con el mezclador de mano, use el sujetador de almacenamiento para batidora. Encaje las batidoras en el sujetador de almacenamiento, después inserte éste en las ranuras (huecos) de la unidad de mano.

INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO PARA EL USUARIO

Este aparato requiere poco mantenimiento. No contiene partes reparables por el cliente. NO trate de repararlo usted mismo. Si requiere servicio, remítalo a personal calificado.

PARA LIMPIAR:

NUNCA SUMERJA LA CARCASA DEL MOTOR EN AGUA. En primer lugar, asegúrese de que la unidad esté desenchufada. Libere las paletas batidoras de la unidad y lave normalmente. Pase un paño o una esponja húmeda a la carcasa.

PARA GUARDAR:

Desenchufe la unidad; guarde en su caja en un lugar limpio y seco. Nunca guarde mientras esté caliente o enchufada. Nunca enrolle el cable apretadamente alrededor del aparato. Esta batidora manual puede batir varios ingredientes. Simplemente coloque las paletas batidoras en el recipiente que contiene los ingredientes y encienda. Use la batidora para hacer tortas, tartas, crema batida, puré de papas y mucho más. Las 5 velocidades le permitirán batir una variedad de alimentos.
