Steek de andere kant van de datakabel in de controller zelf en druk op het huisje (Thuis). het licht van de controller zal knipperen totdat deze een kleur wordt en niet meer knippert. De controller zal dan verbonden zijn. De datakabel kan verwijderd worden. Als je dan op het huisje (thuis) drukt zal de controller automatisch verbinden. 2. Druk een enkel keer op de thuisknop om op het startscherm te komen. 3. Druk tweemaal op de thuisknop om de applicatie te starten. 4. Druk op de thuisknop als de controller in slaapstand gaat. 5. De controller heeft geen functie op de console uit slaapstand te halen. 6. Druk de thuisknop lang in om een applicatie te sluiten of om uit te loggen/ af te sluiten. 7. Tot 4 controllers mogelijk te verbinden. De mogelijke kleuren voor de Led verlichting van de controller zijn blauw, rood, groen en roze. Dit is aan te passen. Gebruiksmodus PS3 en PC Om met de PS3 te verbinden dien je de datakabel aan de controller en in de console te steken. Dit zal direct werken. PS3 en PC ondersteunen de zes-assige gyroscoop en vibratiefunctie niet. Voor de PC is er een PS4 driver te installeren welke zal zorgen voor ondersteuning. Gebruiksmodus Android en iOS toestellen Zet de controller aan. Druk op SHARE + HOME. De verlichting zal snel knipperen. Zoek in de Bluetooth lijst van je toestel naar "PS4010" en klik om te verbinden. Na succesvolle verbinding zal de verlichting aan blijven. De controller is nu bruikbaar voor het spelen van spellen.
