LEDVANCE Slim Downlight Installation Manual

Introduction

This document provides installation instructions and technical specifications for the LEDVANCE Slim Downlight series. Please read these instructions carefully before installation or servicing.

Safety Precautions

General Safety:

To avoid electric shock or component damage, disconnect power before attempting installation or servicing.
Use caution when handling the product during or after operation as it may become hot and cause burns.
Disconnect the product and allow it to cool before servicing.
Any alteration or modification of this product is expressly forbidden as it may cause serious personal injury, death, property damage, and/or product malfunction.
Do not exceed the nominal supply voltage or amperage ratings.
No device component is replaceable.

Electrical Connection

Turn on the electrical power only at the end of the installation.

Diagrams for Electrical Connection:

Step 1: Shows a switch in the 'OFF' position, with wires labeled L, N, and a ground symbol. The power source is indicated.

Step 2: Depicts the luminaire's connection point with wires. It indicates 'No incluido/Não incluido/Not included' for certain connectors. It also shows wire connections: 'N: Azul/Blue', 'L: Marrón/Castanho/Brown'.

Step 3: Illustrates wire connections with color labels: 'MARRÓN/CASTANHO/BROWN' for L and 'AZUL/BLUE' for N.

Step 4: Shows a switch in the 'ON' position, with wires connected to L and N terminals.

Installation Guide

Steps for Installation:

Step 1: Shows the luminaire components being prepared for ceiling mounting.

Step 2: Illustrates the process of inserting the luminaire into the ceiling opening and making electrical connections. It includes angles and labels A and B.

Step 3: Shows the final mounted luminaire.

Warranty Policy

LEDVANCE warrants its LEDVANCE Slim Downlight luminaires for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase against any defect attributable to the quality of its materials or workmanship during manufacture.

Terms and Conditions:

Warranty is applicable when the product is connected, installed, and operated correctly within specified electrical values, operating range, and environmental conditions.
The warranty does not cover the finish of any part of the product, considered normal wear and tear.
The warranty is void in case of unauthorized repairs or alterations.
The warranty does not apply to damages or breaches resulting from natural disasters, abuse, misuse, inappropriate use, or use in violation of any standard or code.
LEDVANCE S.A. de C.V. will cover reasonable transportation expenses for warranty claims.
LEDVANCE reserves the right to inspect submitted luminaires for warranty compliance.
Parts, components, consumables, or accessories cannot be obtained separately due to product characteristics.
To validate the warranty, the product must be presented with the policy, invoice, receipt, or proof of purchase duly stamped by the seller.
