Get Started With Your Socket Mobile Barcode Reader
Brand: Socket Mobile
1. Initial Setup: Fully Charge Your Barcode Reader
For best results, please follow these instructions:
Use a wall charger to charge the batteries until the battery light turns solid green. This may take up to 8 hours.
Charging Requirements: Minimum 5.0 VDC, 1 AMP; Maximum 5.5 VDC, 3 AMPS.
Important: Do not charge Socket Mobile data readers in temperatures above 100°F/40°C, as the reader may not charge properly.
Note: Charging from a computer or laptop USB port may not provide enough power and could cause charging, connection, or scanning performance issues.
Visual Description of Charging Setup: A diagram shows the barcode reader with labeled buttons: 'Scan button' and 'Power button'. A charging cable connects the reader to a wall adapter. A clock indicates '8 Hours' and a green light symbol signifies 'Fully charged'. The text indicates that preinstalled rechargeable batteries are included.
