HM BT4 Instruction Manual

Thank you for purchasing the Ready2Talk HM BT4 Wireless Hand Microphone.
The HM BT4 with its unique BT circuitry, is designed to be a durable high performance Wireless Hand Microphone (Mic) offering over 16 hrs. of talk time per charge and over 30 ft (10M) of operating range.

2. To turn on the hand mic, push and hold the power button on the hand mic until the logo window with Ready2Talk HM BT4 flashes. In approximately 2 seconds, the logo window on the mic will change to solid white and the and button on the receiver box will change to red. Now the microphone is ready to use.
3. To turn off the hand mic, push and hold the power button until the logo window goes off.
4. For best sound results of your microphone, hold it approximately 1/2" to 1" away from your mouth, talk normally and adjust your microphone volume on the PA as required.
NOTE: If the hand mic is not paired to that receiver box, the logo window on the hand mic will continue to flash and pairing button on the receiver box will not glow red. (See pairing instructions below)
Charging:
Using the included USB to USB-C charging cable, connect the hand mic to any USB style charger and the logo window on the hand mic will glow blue indicating the mic is charging.
When the logo window no longer glows blue, the hand mic is fully charged and will offer over 16 hrs. of continuous use.
The charging time will vary from minutes to approximately 4 hrs. depending on how much residual charge was left in the battery at the start of the charge cycle.
If necessary, you can use the hand mic and charge it at the same time by connecting to the USB output charging port on the receiver box. But for daily charging, it is always recommended to use a standard USB wall charger to ensure the power is not interrupted during the charge cycle.
Important: DO NOT leave the hand mic on charge continuously, but charge the hand mic prior to being needed.
Important: DO NOT connect anything to the receiver box USB charging socket other than the HM BT4 hand Mic (e.g. a phone) or damage will occur to the receiver box.
Logo Window Status Indicators:

Not Lit = Hand mic is not turned on White = Connected to the receiver, ready to use Flashing White = Hand mic is not paired to that receiver Blue while charging = In charging mode Blue goes out when plugged in = Fully charged Red while in operation = Low battery, requires charging Repeating 2 quick flashes then off for 1 second = In pairing mode
Pairing / Re-syncing a Hand Mic to a Different Receiver: Your HM BT4 hand mic and receiver box will come pre-paired; to pair a hand mic to a different receiver box, follow these simple steps.
