Before using the appliance, carefully read the Safety Instruction.

First Time Use

HEAT THE OVEN

A new oven may release odours from manufacturing. This is normal. Before cooking, heat the empty oven to 250°C for about one hour to remove any possible odours. Remove any protective cardboard or transparent film from the oven and its accessories. Please ventilate the room after the first use.

Control Panel

1. SELECTION KNOB: For switching the oven on by selecting a function. Turn to the 0 position to switch the oven off.

2. TIMER KNOB: Useful as a timer.

3. THERMOSTAT KNOB: Turn to select a desired temperature, activating the selected function.

4. LED THERMOSTAT / PREHEATING: Switches on during the heating process and switches off once the desired temperature is reached. Note: Placing food in the oven before preheating is finished may affect the cooking result. Knob types may vary; push-activated knobs require a central push to release.

Accessories

The number and type of accessories may vary by model. Additional accessories can be purchased separately.

  • WIRE SHELF: For cooking food or as a support for pans and ovenproof items.
  • DRIP TRAY: For cooking meat, fish, vegetables, or collecting cooking juices when placed below the wire shelf.
  • BAKING TRAY: For bread, pastry, roasts, and fish en papillotte.
  • SLIDING RUNNERS: Facilitate inserting or removing accessories.

Insert wire shelves by tilting them slightly upwards, resting the raised rear side down first, then sliding horizontally. Other accessories slide in horizontally.

Shelf guides can be removed for cleaning by pulling them from their seats.

Functions & Daily Use

1. SELECT A FUNCTION: Turn the selection knob to the desired function symbol.

  • 0 OFF: Switches off the oven.
  • LIGHT: Switches on the compartment light.
  • CONVENTIONAL: For cooking any dish on one shelf.
  • SMART CLEAN (Available on certain models): A low-temperature steam cleaning cycle. Pour 100-120ml of water into the oven bottom and turn all 3 knobs to the Smart Clean icon. The function activates automatically for 35 minutes.
  • CONVECTION BAKE: For baking cakes with juicy fillings on one or two shelves.
  • GRILL: For grilling steaks, kebabs, sausages, au gratin dishes, or toasting bread. Use a tray with 200ml water below the wire shelf for meat.
  • TURBOGRILL: For roasting large joints of meat. Use a tray with 200ml water below the wire shelf.
  • DEFROSTING: For faster defrosting.
  • BOTTOM HEATING: For browning the bottom of dishes, slow cooking, or thickening sauces.
  • FORCED AIR: For cooking different foods at the same temperature on up to three shelves simultaneously, preventing odour transfer.
  • PIZZA: For baking pizzas and bread. Swap tray positions halfway through cooking.

Daily Use

1. SELECT A FUNCTION: Turn the selection knob to the desired function.

2. ACTIVATE A FUNCTION

  • MANUAL: Turn the selector knob to the function. The oven light switches on. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the desired temperature. To switch off, turn both knobs to 0.

3. PREHEATING: The thermostat LED light indicates preheating. It switches off when the set temperature is reached. Note: Placing food before preheating is complete may affect results.

4. SETTING THE TIMER: The timer can be set from 1 to 120 minutes. Turn the knob clockwise fully, then back to the desired duration. The oven switches off when the timer ends. For manual mode, ensure the timer knob is set to the [timer symbol]. IMPORTANT: The oven will not switch on if the timer knob is at 0. Set it to the [timer symbol] or a cooking time.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Ensure the oven has cooled down before cleaning. Do not use steam cleaners, wire wool, abrasive scourers, or corrosive cleaning agents. Wear protective gloves and disconnect from mains power before maintenance.

EXTERIOR SURFACES: Clean with a damp microfibre cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a few drops of pH-neutral detergent, then dry with a cloth. Avoid corrosive or abrasive detergents.

INTERIOR SURFACES: Clean after each use, preferably while warm, to remove residues. Dry condensation with a cloth or sponge. Use the "Smart Clean" function for optimal cleaning. Clean the door glass with a suitable liquid detergent.

ACCESSORIES: Soak in washing-up liquid solution after use. Handle hot accessories with oven gloves. Remove food residues with a brush or sponge.

LOWER THE TOP HEATING ELEMENT (On some models): Extract the heating element from its seating, then lower it for cleaning the upper panel. To refit, lift, pull slightly, and ensure the tab support is seated correctly.

REMOVING AND REFITTING THE DOOR:

  1. Open the door fully and lower the catches to the unlock position.
  2. Close the door as much as possible.
  3. Hold the door firmly with both hands (not by the handle) and lift upwards to remove it from its seating.
  4. Rest the door on a soft surface.
  5. To refit, align the hinge hooks with their seating, secure the upper part, lower the door, open it fully, and refit the catches completely. Check alignment with the control panel.

CLEANING OF THE DOOR GLASSES:

  1. After removing the door, press the two retaining clips simultaneously and pull the upper edge of the door towards you.
  2. Hold the inner glass firmly with both hands and remove it.
  3. Clean the inner glass.
  4. To reposition, ensure the "R" label is visible in the left-hand corner and the clear surface faces up. Insert the long side of the glass indicated by "R" into the support seats, then lower it into position.
  5. Refit the upper edge; a click will indicate correct positioning. Ensure the seal is secure.

REPLACING THE LAMP: Disconnect the oven from power. Unscrew the light cover, replace the bulb (use only 25W/230V, G9 type, T300°C halogen bulbs), and screw the cover back on. Reconnect power. Do not use the oven until the cover is refitted.

Troubleshooting

What to do if...

The oven is not working.

  • Possible reasons: Power cut. Disconnection from the mains.
  • Solutions: Check for mains power and ensure the oven is connected. Turn the oven off and restart it to see if the fault persists.
