Insta360 GO Ultra Guide

Camera and Action Pod Assembly

The Insta360 GO Ultra consists of a Standalone Camera and an Action Pod.

Standalone Camera

Buttons: Features a button that can activate QuickCapture when the camera is off [quick-capture-icon]. This button's function can be customized on the Action Pod.
Indicators & Sensors: Includes an Indicator Light [light-icon], Microphone [mic-icon], and Ambient Light Sensor [sensor-icon].
Ports: Equipped with Pogo Pins [connector-icon] for connection to the Action Pod.
Waterproofing: The Standalone Camera is waterproof to 10 meters [waterproof-icon].

Action Pod

Buttons: Features a Power Button [power-icon], Shutter Button (also activates QuickCapture when off) [quick-capture-icon], and a customizable Quick Button [custom-icon].
Indicators & Ports: Includes an Indicator Light [light-icon], Speaker [speaker-icon], Lanyard Port [lanyard-icon], and USB-C Port [usb-icon].
Usage Note: The Action Pod is splashproof but not waterproof; do not use it underwater.

Connecting Camera to Pod

To remove the Standalone Camera from the Action Pod, press and hold the lock [lock-icon] and detach it.
To reattach, align the Standalone Camera with the pogo pins [connector-icon] on the Action Pod.

Shooting Modes and Features

Landscape and Portrait Modes

The camera supports both Landscape [landscape-icon] and Portrait [portrait-icon] shooting modes. When using accessories like the Magnet Pendant, check the position of the Indicator Light and Lens to confirm the current mode.

Accessories

Magnet Pendant

The pendant has a magnetic surface [magnet-icon] revealed after removing a sticker.
Rotate the gray silicone area to adjust the shooting angle [angle-adjustment-icon].
Wear the pendant under clothing after setting the desired angle.
It offers an adjustable 180° tilt range for versatile shooting angles.

Magnet Pendant Safety Cord

Easy Clip [clip-icon]: Press the buckle [buckle-icon] to release the anchor.
Bend the quick-release anchor cord, thread it through the camera's loop [loop-icon], and secure it.
Wrap the cord around a lanyard or strap, then pass the buckle through the loop.
Attach to a hat for Point-of-View (POV) footage.
Adjust the cord length using the slider [slider-icon].
