1.2 Intended Use
This appliance is designed for built-in kitchen units. Only a licensed professional should connect appliances without plugs. Damage from incorrect connection is not covered by warranty.
Use this appliance only:
- To keep food warm and to warm cookware.
- In private households and enclosed domestic environments.
- Up to an altitude of max. 4000 m above sea level.
Do not use the appliance:
- On boats or in vehicles.
- With an external timer or a remote control.
1.3 Restriction on User Group
The appliance may be used by children aged 8+ and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, provided they are supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the resulting dangers. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by children require supervision and they must be at least 15 years old. Keep children under 8 away from the appliance and power cable.
1.4 Safe Use

The appliance interior gets very hot and can ignite flammable materials. Never place flammable objects or plastic containers inside.

Accessories and cookware become very hot. Always use oven gloves when removing them. The appliance interior becomes very hot; never touch it while hot. Keep children away. Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.

Incorrect repairs are dangerous. Repairs should only be performed by trained specialist staff using genuine spare parts. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by trained specialist staff.
2 Preventing Material Damage
ATTENTION!
Excessive weight may damage the appliance. The appliance has a maximum load capacity of 15 kg.
Moisture may damage the appliance. Do not use the appliance to store food and drinks, as humidity can cause corrosion.
If the power cord is damaged, this is dangerous. Never let the power cord contact hot appliance parts, heat sources, sharp points, or edges. Never kink, crush, or modify the power cord.
Ingress of moisture can cause electric shock. Do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners. Never operate a damaged appliance. Always unplug by pulling the plug, not the cord.
If the appliance or power cord is damaged, immediately unplug or switch off the fuse. Call customer services (See Page 8).

Children may suffocate if they put packaging material over their heads. Keep packaging material away from children and do not let them play with it. Small parts can cause suffocation if swallowed; keep them away from children.
3 Environmental Protection and Saving Energy
3.1 Disposing of Packaging
Packaging materials are environmentally compatible and recyclable. Sort components by type and dispose of them separately.
4 Familiarising Yourself with Your Appliance
4.1 Appliance
The appliance features a surface area with an anti-slip mat, fan and heating elements, and controls.
Note: On certain models, specific details like colour and shape may differ from illustrations.
4.2 Controls
The control panel allows configuration of all functions and provides information on operating status. Key controls include:

5 Before Using for the First Time
Configure settings for initial start-up and clean the appliance and accessories.
5.1 Cleaning and Heating Up
- Clean the appliance.
- Remove accessories.
- Heat the appliance at 80 °C for one hour. Smoke and odour development are normal.
6 Tableware
These instructions help prevent damage to your tableware.
6.1 Suitable Tableware
The warming drawer has a maximum load capacity of 15 kg. It can be used to preheat place settings for 6 or 12 people.

7 Basic Operation
7.1 Opening the Appliance
Press the centre of the warming drawer. It will pop open and can be pulled out.
7.2 Closing the Appliance
Press the centre of the warming drawer and push it back in.
7.3 Switching On
Press the main switch.
7.4 Switching Off
Press the main switch.
7.5 Setting the Temperature
Set the temperature using the temperature selector to any value between MIN, MED, and MAX.
8 Preheating Tableware
Preheated tableware keeps food and drinks warm for longer.
8.1 Starting the "Preheat Tableware" Function
⚠️ WARNING – Risk of Burns!
Drinking vessels become very hot. For drinking vessels, set the temperature to MIN to MED.
- Place an anti-slip mat at the bottom of the drawer to prevent scratching.
- Place tableware in the drawer, distributing it evenly to reduce preheating time. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Turn the temperature selector to the required setting (MAX for tableware, MIN to MED for drinking vessels).
- Switch on the appliance. The operation indicator will light up, and the fan will run.
- Close the warming drawer.
Note: Preheating time is approximately 15-25 minutes for 6 place settings, depending on tableware material, quantity, and distribution.
8.2 Ending the "Preheat Cookware" Function

Always use oven gloves to remove hot accessories or cookware.
- Open the warming drawer.
- Switch off the appliance.
- Remove the cookware.
9 Keeping Food Warm
You can use the warming drawer to keep food warm for a limited time (recommended up to one hour). Suitable foods include meat, poultry, fish, sauces, vegetables, side dishes, and soups.
9.1 Starting the "Keep Food Warm" Function
ATTENTION!
Hot cookware from the hob can damage the anti-slip mat. Never place hot pots directly on the mat.
- Place an anti-slip mat at the bottom of the drawer.
- Place tableware in the drawer.
- Turn the temperature selector to set the required temperature.
- Switch on the appliance. The operation indicator will light up, and the fan will run.
- Preheat the tableware for approximately 10 minutes.
- Place food into the preheated tableware. Do not overfill to prevent spills. Cover easily dried food with a heat-resistant lid or aluminium foil.
- Close the warming drawer.
The anti-slip mat is food-safe. Dry food can be heated directly on it, but the mat must be cleaned afterwards.
10 Cleaning and Servicing
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure efficient operation.
10.1 Cleaning Products
Use suitable cleaning products available from after-sales service or the online shop. Avoid harsh, abrasive detergents, high alcohol content cleaners, and hard scouring pads.

10.2 Cleaning the Appliance

10.3 Cleaning Stainless Steel Surfaces
Remove limescale, grease, starch, or albumin stains immediately. Clean with water and mild detergent, then dry with a soft cloth.
10.4 Cleaning the Glass Front
Use a glass cleaning product and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive sponges or glass scrapers.
10.5 Cleaning the Anti-slip Mat
Remove the mat and clean it with washing-up liquid.
11 Troubleshooting

14 Installation Instructions
Observe this information when installing the appliance.
14.1 Included with the Appliance
After unpacking, check all parts for transport damage and completeness.
14.2 Installation in the Cabinet
The appliance requires specific cabinet dimensions. For the 14 cm model, ensure clearances of approximately 590+4 mm height, 550 mm width, and 560+8 mm depth. For the 29 cm model, ensure clearances of approximately 880+4 mm height, 550 mm width, and 560+8 mm depth. The appliance depth is approximately 550 mm, with a required recess of 550 mm. A minimum clearance of 140 mm is needed at the front for the drawer, and 290 mm at the rear.

14.3 Instructions for Electrical Connection
Connect the appliance safely to the electrical system:

14.5 Installation
Fitted Units:
Ensure ventilation slots and air intake openings are not covered, as this can cause overheating. Do not install the appliance behind a decorative panel. The built-in unit must not have a rear panel behind the appliance. Comply with minimum distances between the wall, cabinet base, and upper cabinet back wall. Observe installation instructions for appliances installed above. Install tilt protection if no intermediate floor is possible above the appliance or oven.

- Insert the power cord into a protective contact socket. Ensure the power cord does not touch the rear and base of the appliance after installation.
- Insert the appliance into the cabinet.
- Centre the appliance.
- Screw the appliance into place.
- Remove and dispose of protective padding.
