Safety Precautions
General Safety:
- The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by ignoring safety instructions.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord, and ensure the cord does not become entangled.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- This appliance is for household use only and for its intended purpose. Improper use can lead to food catching fire. Do not use more than one teaspoon of oil, avoid meats that release excessive grease, or water intended for boiling.
- Children under 8 years of age should not use this appliance. Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, may use it if supervised or instructed on safe usage and understanding the hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they are over 8 and supervised.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
- The appliance must be connected to an earthed socket outlet (for Class I appliances).
- WARNING: If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of an electric shock.
- Accessible surface temperatures may be high when the appliance is operating.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
- Surfaces indicated with the hot surface symbol (?) can get hot during use.
- To prevent disruptions to airflow, do not place anything on top of the appliance and ensure at least 10 cm of free space around it.
- After cooking, the appliance needs to cool down. This cooling process activates automatically when the timer finishes. Avoid unplugging the appliance before the cooling process is complete, as residual hot air can damage the appliance.
- This appliance is intended for household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments; bed and breakfast type environments; and farm houses.

Parts Description
The Tristar FR-6964 Multi Crispy Fryer Oven includes the following parts:
- 1. Main unit
- 2. Display
- 3. Basket
- 4. Removal handle
- 5. Baking rack (2 x)
- 6. Fat collecting tray / baking tray
Before First Use
- A slight odor may occur upon first use; this is normal and will disappear with adequate ventilation.
- Remove all packaging material, stickers, and labels.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
Fat Collecting/Baking Tray
Place the fat collecting tray in the lower rails of the cooking space to collect dripping fat, food residues, or crumbs. It can also be used as a baking tray by placing food on it and inserting it into the middle rails.
Basket
Do not overfill the basket; overcrowding can lead to uneven cooking.
Baking Racks
- The baking racks slide onto the rails in the cooking space.
- The heating element is located at the top of the cooking space.
- Higher rack placement results in more intense heat from above, leading to faster and crispier cooking.
- The middle position provides uniform heating from all sides.
- The bottom rails are suitable for gentle cooking.
Use
- Plug the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.
- Open the door.
- If not using the fat collecting tray as a baking tray, slide it into the lowest rails of the cooking space.
- Select a suitable accessory for the food to be prepared.
- Process the food, place it on or in the accessory, and attach the accessory in the device.
- Close the door.
- Press the on/off switch. The display will become active.
- Set the temperature and cooking time manually or choose one of the 11 programs.
Manual Setting:
- Touch the + or - symbol at the temperature setting to set the desired temperature (65°C to 200°C).
- Touch the + or - symbol at the time setting to set the desired time (1 minute to 60 minutes).
Program Setting:
- Activate the desired program by touching its symbol. The symbol will start flashing when activated.
- Touching the same symbol again will cancel the selection.

Cooking Guidelines:
The cooking time depends on the thickness, quantity, and consistency of the food. The times provided are guidelines and can be adjusted. Double the time for tough meat and extend by at least 20% for deep-frozen food.

- Ensure meat and poultry are thoroughly cooked before serving.
- To change the temperature or cooking time of a selected program, touch the respective setting buttons as you would for manual setting.
- Operating lamps illuminate successively to indicate the device is operating. If operation is interrupted, they flash.
- Press the light button (?) or open the door to check food during use. The light will turn on, and operation will pause automatically, resuming when the door is closed.
- When the cooking time elapses, the device switches off automatically and beeps. To stop prematurely, press the on/off switch.
- Open the door and remove cooked items using oven gloves and the removal handle/tool.
- After use, unplug the appliance from the wall socket.
- Allow used accessories and the device to cool down before cleaning.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher-proof.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool, as they can damage the device.
- Rinse all other used parts with dish soap and warm water or in the dishwasher. For stubborn dirt, soak accessories in warm water and dishwashing liquid beforehand.
- The door is detachable for easy cleaning. Open the door to a 30° angle and gently remove it. The door is not dishwasher safe.
- Allow all parts to dry completely or dry them with a towel.
Environment
This appliance should not be disposed of with domestic garbage at the end of its lifespan. It must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. The symbol on the appliance, instruction manual, and packaging draws attention to this important issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled.
