Important Notes on UL Recognition
UL Recognized components are incomplete in certain constructional features or restricted in performance capabilities. They are intended for installation in complete equipment submitted for investigation to UL LLC.
Certificates of Compliance indicate that representative samples have met UL certification requirements but do not authorize the use of the UL Recognized Component Mark. Authorization to use the mark is provided by an Authorization Page referencing a Follow-Up Services Procedure.
Only products bearing the UL Recognized Component Mark should be considered UL Certified and covered under UL's Follow-Up Services. Look for the UL Recognized Component Mark on the product.
