Before using the unit, be sure to read all operating instructions carefully. Note that these are general precautions and may not pertain to your unit. For example, this unit may not have the capability to be connected to an outdoor antenna.

  1. Read these instructions – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.

  5. Do not use this apparatus near water – The appliance should not be used near water; for example, near a bath tub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.
  6. Clean only with dry cloth – The appliance should be cleaned only as recommended by the manufacturer.
  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation.   11. Only use attachments / accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
  13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  14. Power Sources – The appliance should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance. Do not overload wall outlets.
  15. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

PLACEMENT AND MOUNTING

1. Placing the device on table

Ventilation
When placing the Sound Bar on an entertainment center, bookshelf or any type of enclosed space, be sure to allow space around the Sound Bar for ventilation. If the Sound Bar is enclosed in a tight space, without ventilation, heat generated from the Sound Bar could produce a potential heat hazard.

2.1 Mounting to a wooden wall

A. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.

B. Drill the supplied screws directly into the marks that you have made on the wall and leave approx. 0.3 inches in length to hook the sound bar.

C. Put the sound bar onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.

2.2 Mounting to a brick wall

A. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.

B. Drill 2 holes on wall with a powerful electric drill.

C. Insert the supplied fixing plug and hammer into the holes.

D. Secure the supplied screws into the fixing plugs and leave approx. 0.3 inches in length to hook the sound bar.

E. Put the sound bar onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control has the following buttons:

BATTERY INSTALLATION

First Time Use

Remove and discard the insulation film.

Replacing Battery

  1. Push and slide out the battery holder.
  2. Replace the battery with a new CR2025 button cell, observing the polarity markings on the rear of the Remote Control.
  3. Close the battery holder.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

  • Use only the specified size and type of battery.
  • Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
  • If the batteries are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
  • Do not try to recharge batteries not intended for recharging; they can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's instructions.)
  • The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
  • Clean the battery contacts and those of the device prior to battery installation.
  • This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burn in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

BASIC OPERATION

To turn the unit on

Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN jack. Then press the SOURCE/ ? button on the unit or press the ⏻ button on the remote control.

To turn the unit off

Press and hold the SOURCE/ ? button on the unit or press the ⏻ button on the remote control.

NOTE: If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, disconnect the power adapter.

AUX-IN 1 (RCA) OPERATION

An external (auxiliary) audio source (e.g., TV/DVD/VCR, not included) can be connected to the unit and heard through the speakers.

RCA AUX IN connection:

  1. Connect one end of the RCA audio cable (2-prong plug, white & red, included) to the AUX-IN 1 jacks on the top of the unit.
  2. Connect the other end (2-prong plug, white & red) into the audio output jacks on the external auxiliary source.
  3. Press the SOURCE/ ? button on the unit or press the SOURCE button on the remote control repeatedly until the indicator turns GREEN.
  4. Set the external audio player to play.

During playback:

  • Press the ? button on the remote control to turn the sound off, press again to resume.
  • Press the Volume +/- button on the unit or the VOL+/- button on the remote control to adjust the volume level.
  • Press the Bass button on the remote control to adjust the bass level.
  • Press the Treble +/- button on the remote control to adjust the treble level.
  • Press the EQ button on the remote control to switch the sound mode between POP/JAZZ/CLASSIC/ROCK/NORMAL.

AUX-IN 2 OPERATION

An external (auxiliary) audio source (e.g., personal CD or MP3 audio player, computer or laptop, not included) can be connected to the unit and heard through the speakers.

AUX IN connection:

  1. Plug one end of the AUX IN 3.5mm jack cable (included) into the AUX-IN 2 on the right side of the unit.
  2. Plug the other end into the headphone or LINE/Audio output of the personal audio player.
  3. Press the SOURCE/ ? button on the unit or press the SOURCE button on the remote control repeatedly until the indicator turns ORANGE.
  4. Set your personal audio player to play.

During playback:

  • Press the ? button on the remote control to turn the sound off, press again to resume.
  • Press the Volume +/- button on the unit or the VOL+/- button on the remote control to adjust the volume level.
  • Press the Bass button on the remote control to adjust the bass level.
  • Press the Treble +/- button on the remote control to adjust the treble level.
  • Press the EQ button on the remote control to switch the sound mode between POP/JAZZ/CLASSIC/ROCK/NORMAL.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING AND CONNECTION

  1. Press the SOURCE/ ? button on the unit or press the ⏻ button on the remote control to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the SOURCE/ ? button on the unit or press the SOURCE button on the remote control repeatedly until the indicator turns BLUE.
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth functionality of other devices paired with your unit. Only one device can be paired at a time.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth functionality on your Bluetooth device. Typically, Bluetooth controls are found on the device's tools or settings menu (see your user manual). Turn on Bluetooth connectivity and make your device “discover-able”.
  5. Choose “add a new Bluetooth device” or “setup Bluetooth device” on your device. It will start to search. Once “SB3200” shows on your device, select it. If your device prompts you for a pass code, please enter '0000.' If the pairing attempt fails or times out, please start the pairing procedure again.

NOTE: The unit will automatically reconnect with the last paired device when it is switched to Bluetooth mode. If the Bluetooth connection is lost due to external factors or will not automatically reconnect, clear the “SB3200” from your Bluetooth device list and pair again.

BLUETOOTH PLAYBACK

  • Press the ⏸️ button to pause playing, press again to resume.
  • Press the ⏩ or ⏪ button on the remote control to skip to next or previous track.
  • Press the ? button on the remote control to turn the sound off, press again to resume.
  • Press the Volume +/- button on the unit or the VOL+/- button on the remote control to adjust the volume level.
  • Press the Bass button on the remote control to adjust the bass level.
  • Press the Treble +/- button on the remote control to adjust the treble level.
  • Press the EQ button on the remote control to switch the sound mode between POP/JAZZ/CLASSIC/ROCK/NORMAL.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

No sound:

  • The volume may be too low. Try increasing the volume by pressing Volume + button on the unit or VOL + button on the remote control.
  • The connected device might not be in playback mode.
  • The sound output of the connected device is weak. Increase the volume of the connected Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth reception not working:

  • Make sure no other devices are connected to the sound bar and try pairing and connecting your Bluetooth enabled device again by using the pairing and connecting procedure. If a device was connected to the sound bar, disconnect it before connecting another device.
