Assembly and Operation
Follow these steps for assembling and operating your grass trimmer:
Assembly Steps
- Step 1: Attach the two wheels to the cart frame using the provided bolts and nuts.
- Step 2: Connect the upper handle tube to the lower handle tube.
- Step 3: Attach the trimmer unit to the assembled handle and cart structure. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Step 4: Insert the spool with the cutting line into the trimmer head. Ensure the line is correctly threaded.
- Step 5: Insert the battery into the designated compartment until it clicks.
- Step 6: To start, press the safety lock button and then the ON switch. To stop, release the ON switch.
- Step 7: Adjust the cutting angle by rotating the trimmer head to the desired position (e.g., 180°, 30°).
- Step 8: Mount the grass trimmer onto the cart by aligning the mounting points and securing it.
- Step 9: Adjust the cutting height using the provided mechanism, typically offering settings like 35 mm and 55 mm.
- Step 10: Replace the spool by following the instructions, which usually involves removing the spool cover and inserting a new spool.

Battery and Maintenance
Battery Handling:
- Recharge batteries only with manufacturer-recommended chargers.
- Use only designated battery packs for this tool.
- Keep unused batteries away from small metal objects (paper clips, coins, keys) to prevent short circuits.
- Avoid contact with ejected battery liquid; flush with water if contact occurs. Seek medical help if liquid gets into eyes.

Standard Warranty: 24 months from handover. Proof of purchase (original invoice or copy) is required.
Applicability: For consumers only, for new goods purchased within the EU, UK, and Switzerland.
Exclusions: Wearing parts, batteries, damage from incorrect accessories, non-original parts, force, impact, breakage, motor overload.
Limitations: Warranty covers defective parts, not complete devices. Repairs must be done by authorized service partners. Unauthorized intervention voids the warranty.
Shipping Costs (Germany): Borne by IKRA GmbH for warranty cases.
Additional Warranty (Primaster): 60 months provided by Globus Fachmärkte GmbH. Similar exclusions apply. Not valid for commercial use. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
Governing Law: German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
