Product Overview

This manual provides detailed instructions for the JAMJAKE Active Stylus Pen, designed for seamless use with a wide range of iPad models. It covers quick charging, connection methods, and various usage features.

Quick Charge Mode

The stylus supports quick charging via a Type-C cable, offering a full charge in 15-20 minutes for up to 10 hours of continuous use. The indicator light shows charging status.

How to Connect

  1. Ensure your iPad is updated to iOS 12.2 or later.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Apple Pencil and disable the existing Apple Pencil connection if applicable.
  3. Turn off Bluetooth on your iPad before connecting the JAMJAKE stylus if you previously used the official Apple Pencil.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to turn off the 'Only Draw with Apple Pencil' setting in Settings > Notes.

How to Use

Activation: Double-tap the top of the stylus to turn it on or off. The indicator light will illuminate when active.

Battery Indicator: The indicator light displays different colors and flashing patterns to show the battery level.

  • Low Power: Light flashes.
  • Charging: Light is solid blue.
  • Full Charge: All lights are solid.

Features:

  • Smart Screenshot: Lift from the bottom-left corner to the upper-right to capture a screenshot.
  • Smart Doodle: In the Notes app, holding the stylus for a moment after drawing will automatically refine the shape.
  • Quick Memo: Double-tap the screen with the stylus when the screen is off to access the memo function.
  • Magnetic Adsorption & Tilt Function: The stylus magnetically attaches to compatible iPad Pro models and supports tilt functionality for dynamic line thickness.
  • Replaceable Tips: The pen tips can be easily unscrewed and replaced without tools.

Applicable Models

This stylus is compatible with a comprehensive list of iPad models, including various versions of the iPad, iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro. Please refer to the detailed list in the manual for specific model numbers (e.g., A1893, A2197, A2377, etc.).

Not Compatible With

The stylus is not compatible with older iPad models, including certain generations of iPad Pro (10.5-inch, 9.7-inch), iPad Air, and iPad mini, as well as original iPad models from 2010-2017. Always confirm your iPad model on the back of the device.
