Installation Steps
Step 1
- Clean truck bed thoroughly before installation.
- Stick the supplied front seal strip on the front bed rail by aligning with the outer edge. [Diagram shows a hand applying a black seal strip along the front edge of a truck bed rail.]
- Install the provided LED lamps according to the actual situation of the truck bed. [Diagram shows two small LED lights being placed on the inner sides of the truck bed near the tailgate.]
You might need: Seal Strip (Only apply to some models)
⚠️ ATTENTION! IF THE TRUCK'S FRONT BED RAIL IS LOWER THAN THE SIDES, USE THE PROVIDED WEATHER SEAL STRIPS. GAPS ON THE FRONT BED AND TAILGATE WILL CAUSE NOISE AND FLAPPING ISSUES WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION!
Step 2
- Place the assembled cover on the bulkhead against the cab. [Diagram shows the folded tonneau cover being placed on the front edge of the truck bed, near the cab.]
- Fully unfold the cover towards the tailgate and ensure cover aligns on all sides. [Diagram shows the tonneau cover being unfolded from the front towards the tailgate, with arrows indicating alignment on the sides.]
Step 3
- Slide the front clamp to the best position, clamp the interface under the metal bed rail point, and then use the Triangle screw to rotate into the metal rod to fix the entire clamp. [Diagrams show a close-up of a clamp being attached under the truck bed rail, and a triangle screw being tightened to secure it.]
Step 4
- Connect the provided Rear clamps to the T-bar on the cover as shown in the figure. [Diagram shows a rear clamp being connected to a T-bar on the underside of the tonneau cover.]
Step 5
- Fix the rear clamp on the third cover as shown in the second cover. [Diagrams show rear clamps being attached to the edge of the tonneau cover panels.]
Step 6
- Adjust the connection position of the rear clamp and T-bar according to the actual situation. Open the cover and place it on the lathe, and push the rear clamp vertically to fix it to the rails on both sides of the lathe. [Diagrams illustrate adjusting clamp positions and securing them vertically to the truck bed rails.]
Step 7
- All clamps must be firmly in contact with the lip of the metal bed rail to ensure a firm cover. [Diagrams show clamps firmly seated against the lip of the truck bed rail.]
Step 8: FINISH THE INSTALLATION
- After rear clamps have been latched securely, close/lock tailgate and cover cannot be opened from the outside.
COMPLETED!!!
All clamps must be firmly in contact with the lip of the metal bed rail to ensure a firm cover. Finally, close the tailgate to complete the installation.
NOTE: COVER MAY NOT COMPLETELY COVER TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE BED RAILS DUE TO SLIGHT DIFFERENCE IN TRUCK BED SHAPE FOR DIFFERENT YEAR MODELS.
Step 9
- When it is necessary to completely fold the cover, place the rear clamps correctly, clamping rubber block, and then fold it. [Diagrams show the process of folding the tonneau cover. One diagram shows rear clamps being positioned with a rubber block before folding. Another shows the final folded state.]
- [Diagram shows the folded cover with a "CLICK!!!" sound indicator, signifying secure closure.]
