Simonrack Simonclick Metal Shelving Unit Safety and Usage Guide

General Safety Precautions

Please read the entire manufacturer's instruction manual carefully and follow all listed safety precautions. Before use, read all manufacturer information. Warning instructions cover some risks but not all. Keep manuals for reference.

Load Limits and Distribution

Never exceed the specified maximum load per shelf and for the entire rack. Ensure the load is evenly distributed over the entire shelf to avoid point loads.

Assembly and Installation

  • Follow assembly instructions carefully and ensure all screws and fasteners are tight.
  • Shelving units must be firmly anchored to the wall to achieve maximum load capacity.
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure there are no structural damages or loose parts.
  • Use proper lifting equipment and techniques to place and remove heavy loads to prevent injury or damage.

Safe Usage

  • Do not climb on the shelves or use them as ladders.
  • Only use on flat surfaces.
  • Ensure that the area around the shelves is free of obstacles to ensure safe working.
  • When assembling the shelf, wear appropriate protective equipment, such as gloves and safety shoes, to avoid injury.

Child Safety

Products should never be used by children or by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless the manufacturer's manual explicitly allows. Children should never play unsupervised. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children.

[warning] Risk of suffocation: Packaging materials are not toys. Keep packaging out of reach of children and people with reduced abilities.
