Assembly Steps
- Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove mounting plate (C) from canopy (F) by unscrewing, then remove set screw (N) and collar ring (E).
- Install mounting plate (C) to junction box and secure with mounting screws (B).
- Feed electrical and ground wires through bottom rod (I) and connect to fixture body (J). Repeat for middle rod (H), connecting to bottom rod (I).
- Continue feeding wires through canopy (F) and collar ring (E).
- Holding fixture upright, slide canopy (F) and collar ring (E) down and rest on fixture body (J). Then connect top rod (G) to middle rod (H). NOTE: Slide components down slowly to avoid damages.
- Hang fixture swivel ball (D) to the center of mounting plate (C).
- Install collar ring (E) to mounting plate (C) and secure set screw (N) using provided wrench (L).
- Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. Separate wires, and strip insulation on each 5/8".
- Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A). NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
- Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).
- Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
- Thread canopy (F) to mounting plate (C).
- Install light bulbs into the sockets.
