BEFORE inserting the batteries, change Celsius/Fahrenheit Switch FIRST (the default is Celsius) Figure 1- if necessary. If you want to change the temperature unit when the unit is working you need to take out the batteries first. Then switch C/F as Figure 1 and re-insert batteries. Important: You need to change temperature unit (C/F) before the item is powered on. Figure 1 Remove the battery door on the back of the display. Insert two AAA (alkaline or lithium) batteries in the back of the display console, as shown in Figure 2. Figure 4 2.3 Sensor Operation Verification Verify the indoor and outdoor (probe) temperature match closely. The sensors should be within 2°C (the accuracy is ± 1°C).
