Operation Instructions
Before using the IDT-22-B Bluetooth Smart Food Thermometer, please ensure that the battery has sufficient power and that you have read the Important Safety Information mentioned in this manual.
- When cleaning the stainless steel temperature probes provided, avoid immersing the probes and probe cables in water or cleaning them with corrosive detergents, as this may cause damage.
- Prepare a smartphone running iOS12 (or later) or Android 7.1 (or later) to download the INKBIRD app and complete the connection (referring to section 7 App Installation & Connection).
- Please successively insert each cleaned probe into the probe ports. The corresponding display area for each probe on the screen will show the real-time temperatures.
- Open the INKBIRD app and set the parameters for the food that needs to be cooked.
- Insert the probe into the middle of the meat, avoiding any bones or cartilage. Take care not to tangle the probe cable and ensure that the probe is not exposed to fire. During cooking, fix the probe with the provided clamp for stable and reliable measurement results.
- If you are going to use an oven, please place the thermometer outside the oven and leave it on a flat surface that is not metal and not hot. Take care to reserve enough length so as not to pull out the probe from the meat or from the thermometer when closing the oven door.
- When the meat's internal temperature reaches the preset point, the thermometer will sound an alarm and the INKBIRD app will send an alarm notification. To turn off the alarm, you can press the power button on the food thermometer once or cancel it through the app. The alarm will continue until it is manually stopped.
Note: After cooking, please do not immediately touch the hot probe or probe cable. If necessary, please wear heat-insulated gloves or use a tool to prevent burns.
