SteelSeries GG

Download SteelSeries GG software for PC to customize your audio settings using the Engine menu at steelseries.com/gg. You will need to install this software to configure the ChatMix Dial or Surround Sound if using with a Windows PC, but no additional setup is necessary for Xbox.

The Arctis 7X+ Wireless headset features the following components:

Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One Setup

Set the Mode Switch 12 on the USB-C Wireless Dongle 11 to the 'Xbox' position.

Wired Setup: Connect the Switch (Handheld-Mode) or Android device using the appropriate cable.

Windows, Switch, PlayStation, Android Setup

Set the Mode Switch 12 on the USB-C Wireless Dongle 11 to the 'USB' position.

Connection to USB-A: Connect the dongle to a USB-A port.

Connection to USB-C: Connect the dongle via a USB-C port, potentially using the adapter cable.

This setup is for Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch (TV-Mode), and Android.

Charging

To charge the headset, connect the USB-C Charging Cable 14 to the USB-C Charging Jack 8 on the headset. Plug the other end into any USB power source.

The color of the Power Button 10 indicates the battery level:

• Green: 100-50%
• Yellow: 49-20%
• Red: 19-10%
• Red (fast blink): 9-1%

Power On/Off

To power on: Press and hold the Power Button 10 for 1 second. A tone will sound, and the Power Button 10 will illuminate.

To power off: Press and hold the Power Button 10 for at least 3 seconds.

Pairing

Note: The headset is already paired with the Dongle out of the box. To re-pair the Dongle:

1. Connect the USB-C Wireless Dongle 11 to a Windows PC with SteelSeries GG installed.
2. Use the USB-C Charging Cable 14 to connect the headset to the same PC.
3. Use the SteelSeries GG software's Engine to initiate the pairing process.
4. The Engine software will indicate when pairing is completed.

Microphone

Retractable Microphone

The ClearCast Microphone 3 is retractable. For optimal performance, position it close to the corner of your mouth with the flat surface facing you.

Multimedia Control

Control your audio and calls using the Power Button 10:

• Answer/end voice call: Single press of the Power Button 10.
• Play/pause music: Single press of the Power Button 10.
• Next track: Double press of the Power Button 10.
• Previous track: Triple press of the Power Button 10.

Ski Goggle Headband

Installation: Ensure the headband is installed in the correct direction.

Velcro: Tighten or loosen the Velcro straps on the side of the headband to achieve the desired fit.

PC Setup – ChatMix Dial / 7.1 Surround Sound

Note: No specific setup is required for the ChatMix dial to function on Xbox.

For Windows PC users, visit steelseries.com/sonar to download the SteelSeries GG software. Within the Sonar menu, you can configure ChatMix, 7.1 Surround Sound, and EQ settings. Once setup is complete, the ChatMix Dial 9 allows you to balance the volume of game audio versus chat audio from your voice communication application.
