Safety Precautions

Read these safety instructions before using your device and store them for possible future reference.

Switch Off in Restricted Areas

Switch the device off where the use of the device is not allowed or where there is a risk of causing interference or danger, for example on board an aircraft, near medical equipment, fuel, chemicals or blasting sites.

Interference

All wireless devices are susceptible to interference which may affect their performance. All devices conform to international standards and regulations, and if need be national ones, with a view to limiting user exposure to electromagnetic fields. These standards and regulations were adopted after the completion of extensive scientific research. This research established no link between the use of the mobile headset and any adverse effects on health if the device is used in accordance with standard practices.

Only qualified people are authorized to install or repair this product.

Accessories

Only use batteries, chargers and other accessories which are compatible with this equipment. Do not connect incompatible products.

Keep your device in a safe place, out of the reach of young children. The device contains small parts that may present a choking hazard.

Specifications

Product Presentation

The Blaupunkt BLP3790-001 is a black cylindrical Bluetooth wireless speaker with a top control panel and various ports on the side/bottom. The top panel features control buttons, while the side/bottom houses connectivity ports.

Control Layout and Functions:

  1. Track Back Button (<): Press for previous song.
  2. Power Button (⏻): Long press to turn ON/OFF the Bluetooth speaker.
  3. Mode Switch Button (M): Click to switch between Bluetooth mode, AUX mode, FM mode, etc.
  4. Track Forward Button (>): Press for next song.
  5. Micro USB Charging Port (DC 5V): For charging the device.
  6. TF/SD Card Input Port (TF): For playing music from a TF/SD card.
  7. AUX Input Port (AUX): For connecting external audio devices via an AUX cable.
  8. USB Input Port (USB): For playing music from a U-Disk.

Volume Up Button (Λ): Increases volume.

Volume Down Button (V): Decreases volume.

Function Operating Instructions

1) Play / Pause:

In standby mode, click the power button to play music directly, and press again to pause playback.

2) Call Answer:

When the phone rings, click the power button to answer the call.

3) Call Hang Up:

When calls end, click the power button to hang up the phone. When receiving a call and wanting to decline it, press and hold the “Track back” button to reject the call.

4) Last Number Redial:

While on standby or playing music, double-click the power button to dial the last call in your call log.

5) FM Function:

The FM function works when the micro USB charging cable is plugged in and used as an antenna. In FM mode, click the power button to search for radio stations; the blue lights will flash. After searching, the blue lights will stop flashing. Then press the “track back” button for the previous radio channel and the “track forward” button for the next radio channel.

6) TWS Function:

In Bluetooth mode, long press the “M” button. A voice message “ding” will indicate that the speaker is searching for another device. Within 2-3 seconds, both speakers will automatically connect with a voice message “ding” indicating TWS successful.

Note: Ensure that both speakers are not connected to any phone device at the same time, or you will need to disconnect them from the phone for TWS pairing to occur. To disconnect the TWS function, press and hold down one of the “M” buttons.

Remark

  1. Boot Back: When pairing is successful, the second Bluetooth speaker will automatically connect to the previously connected phone upon subsequent power-on.
  2. Low Battery Prompt: When the Bluetooth speaker battery power is low, it will issue a low battery tone.
  3. Click: Means pressing a button 1-time.
  4. Long Press: Means pressing and holding the button for 2-3 seconds.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Once powered ON, the blue lights flash, and the device enters the search pairing state.
  2. Start Bluetooth on your phone or other equipment. If using an Android system phone or device, click on the phone search for “BLP3970” to find the device name. If using an iOS system phone or device, it will automatically search for equipment. When the model of the Bluetooth speaker is found, click to enter pairing. After successful pairing, the speaker will issue a successful tone, the blue lights will stop flashing, and the speaker will enter the connection standby state.

Unsuccessful Pairing for ConnectionMake sure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode. Make sure the speaker has not been connected with another device. Check if there are many Bluetooth devices working around, which may interfere with the Bluetooth connection. Try to restart the Bluetooth of the phone or tablet, and reconnect the speaker again.
No voice or distortion of soundCheck the volume of your phone or the speaker, and adjust the volume. Check if the battery is too low; please recharge it.
Music breaking playCheck if the device is beyond the effective connection distance. Check if there is any obstacle between the speaker and your device.
The indicator not shining in Bluetooth modeThe battery is low. Please charge it. Please reboot the speaker.
