PROZRTED HBS24-12T Smart Digital Instant Hot Water Recirculating System
Product Overview
The PROZRTED HBS24-12T Smart Digital Instant Hot Water Recirculating Pump System is designed to save water and provide instant hot water. It helps reduce water waste while waiting for hot water to reach the tap, contributing to potential savings of up to 10% on water bills. The system offers convenience and savings by delivering hot water on demand.
Product Features
- The HBS24-12T features a digital built-in thermostat, check valve, and digital timer for easy temperature and time setting. The digital screen displays operation details.
- It utilizes a plastic-sealed permanent magnet synchronous motor with a safe 24V ultra-low voltage.
- Easy installation is supported by included accessories such as a 10' power cord, connection hoses, brass Tee fittings, and washers.
- Two operation modes are available: Smart constant temperature mode and manual mode. In these modes, the pump circulates water to maintain the set temperature, pushing cooler water back to the heater until the desired temperature is reached, at which point the pump shuts off.
- Advanced motor technology, specifically a Permanent magnet brushless DC motor, ensures powerful, quiet, and durable operation. The system supports a maximum flow of 5.28 GPM and a maximum head of 39.3ft.

General Installation Instructions
Attention:
- Before installation, verify pipeline connections are reliable and free from impurities. The adapter output is low voltage DC 24V. A filtering screen can be installed at the pump inlet to filter particles; clean it regularly.
- Confirm that connected household appliances can handle hot water at the cold water end.
- To prevent scalding, be mindful of hot water temperature and avoid direct contact with skin.
- For installations without a return water pipe, if cold water is used, the water heater might start. This can be resolved by adjusting the hot water angle valve or adding a ball valve at the pump inlet/outlet.
- The HBS24-12T Pump must be installed or maintained by professionals. Mount it vertically on a wall or flat on the floor (near a floor drain). Follow the installation diagram, paying attention to water pipe connections and check valve direction. After installation, check for leaks. Protect the pump from water splashes to prevent electric shock.
- After connecting the power adapter, perform a test run. The non-water running time should not exceed 5 seconds to protect bearing life.
- When the pump is operating, turn off the power supply before adjusting its position or touching it to prevent accidents.
- Conduct regular inspections and replace any damaged parts promptly.
- If the pump is not used for a long time, close the inlet and outlet water pipe valves and disconnect the pump's power supply. Replace damaged cables or adapters.
- In winter, if the ambient temperature is below 0°C and the pump stops running, drain the pipeline system to prevent freezing and cracking.
- If any abnormal situation occurs during use, turn off the power immediately.
- Do not disassemble or reassemble the appliance.
- Do not touch the power plug or switch with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
- Do not install the product in a location where it cannot be drained.
Installation Warnings:
- The pump is suitable for gas water heaters, air energy water heaters, wall-hung boilers, solar energy water heaters, and electric water heaters.
- Identify if a return pipe exists and select the correct installation diagram.
- Do not install the pump in the reverse direction.
- After installation, ensure the valves for the cold water pipe, hot water pipe, and return pipe are turned on.
Where To Install The Pump:
Install the pump under the faucet farthest from the water heater in each loop.
Installation Steps:
- Shut off the cold water angle valve and hot water angle valve under the faucet.
- Disconnect the hot water line to the faucet. Connect the brass Tee to the 1/2" NPT inlet of the pump, ensuring the rubber gasket is in place. Connect the faucet's hot water line to this brass Tee, then connect a 1/2 inch supply line (provided) to the Tee, and finally connect this supply line to the hot water angle valve.
- Disconnect the cold water line to the faucet. Connect the brass Tee to the 1/2" NPT outlet of the pump, ensuring the rubber gasket is in place. Connect the faucet's cold water pipe to this brass Tee, then connect a 1/2 inch supply line (provided) to the Tee, and finally connect this supply line to the cold water angle valve.
- Use pipe dope or Teflon tape to seal threads for 1/2 female NPT connections. If a gasket flexible copper water heater connector is used, pipe dope or Teflon tape is not required.
- Paste the punch-free sticker on the wall as shown in the diagram, or on other suitable fixed positions. Allow 2 hours for adhesion (ensure the wall or position is dry and clean before sticking).
- Hang the pump installation icon on the punch-free sticker. The pump must be installed vertically on the wall or flat on the floor with the screen up (floor drain nearby). Horizontal wall mounting is forbidden.
- Turn on the supply valve to the water heater and allow water to flow until all air in the pipeline is purged.
- Turn off the faucet inside the house.
- Plug the pump's line cord into a 115V outlet. Ensure the power cord does not touch the exhaust pipe of a gas or oil water heater.
Diagram Descriptions:
- The product installation dimension diagram shows the physical size of the PROZRTED HBS24-12T unit, with approximate dimensions of 6.3±1.1 inches in height, 5.1±1.1 inches in width, and 3.7±1.1 inches in depth. It indicates the 'cold water outlet' and 'hot water inlet' ports. A performance curve graph plots pump lift in meters against flow rate (labeled as 'Flow (m)').
