Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the Haylou GT1 2022 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds.

How to Wear the Earbuds
Gently insert the earbud into your ear canal and adjust it for the most comfortable fit during wear.
For calls, position the microphone towards your mouth to ensure better voice transmission.
Charging
Before first use, remove the insulation film from the charging contacts on both earbuds. Then, fully charge the charging case and the earbuds.

Connect the charging cable to charge the earbuds and the case simultaneously. The charging indicator will glow red while the case is charging and turn off once fully charged.
Powering On and Off
Powering On:
- Removing the earbuds from the case will automatically power them on.
- If the earbuds are out of the case and powered off, press and hold the MFB for approximately 1.5 seconds to turn them on.

Powering Off:
- The earbuds automatically turn off when placed back into the charging case.
- Press and hold the MFB for 4.5 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.

Pairing
Take out both earbuds from the charging case simultaneously. Turn on Bluetooth on your device and search for "Haylou GT1 2022". Tap the name to connect.
If the connection fails, place the earbuds back into the case and repeat the process. After the first successful pairing, the earbuds may automatically connect to the last paired device (ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device).
Manual Connection: If earbuds are off, turn them on manually. Wait 2-3 seconds for them to power on and pair with each other. Then, enable Bluetooth on your device to connect when the earbud's LED indicator flashes slowly white.
Switching Between Mono and Stereo Modes:
The default mode is stereo. To switch to mono mode, place one earbud back into the charging case to turn it off. The other earbud will automatically switch to mono mode. Remove the earbud again to resume stereo mode.
Functions
- Single MFB Tap: Play/Pause music.
- Double Tap Left MFB: Previous track.
- Double Tap Right MFB: Next track.
- Double Tap MFB: Answer/End call.
- Triple Tap Left MFB: Activate voice assistant.
- Triple Tap Right MFB: Enable/Disable low latency mode.
Call Handling:
When a new call arrives during an ongoing conversation:
- Hang up the current call and answer the new one: Double tap MFB.
- Hang up the current call and reject the new one: Press and hold MFB for approximately 1.5 seconds.
- Switch between two calls: Double tap MFB.
Factory Reset
- Place both earbuds into the charging case and ensure the case is sufficiently charged.
- Clear the Bluetooth pairing record on your phone, then turn off the earbuds and re-pair them.
Common Issues
One Earbud is Muted:
Try placing the muted earbud back into the charging case and then removing it. If the issue persists after these steps, try performing a factory reset.
Earbuds Not Charging:
Check if the charging case has sufficient power. Clean the charging contacts with a dry cloth or cotton swab.
Earbuds Not Auto-Disconnecting from Phone:
Ensure the charging case has enough power. The earbuds will not turn off or disconnect from the phone if the case is depleted.

Battery Care
The device uses Lithium-ion (Li-ion) or Lithium-polymer (Li-Po) batteries, which degrade over time and with use. Manufacturer-specified battery life is based on laboratory conditions. Actual usage may vary.
To maximize battery lifespan:
- Avoid discharging below 3.18V (15% capacity) for Li-ion or 3.5V (5% capacity) for Li-Po. Discharging below these levels can cause permanent damage.
- If the device is not used for over a month, charge the battery to 50% and check its charge level every two months.
- Store the battery and device in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.
