4. Installation:
STEP 1: Prepare Tools
Before installing the motor, please prepare the following tools:
- Power Drill & Drill Bits (Required)
- Screwdriver Set (Required)
- Electrical Tape/Heat Shrink Tubing (Required)
- Wire Cutter & Stripper (Required)
- G-Clamp (Required)
- Socket Set (Required)
- Spanner Set (Required)
- Soldering Iron (Recommended)
- Multimeter/Voltmeter (Recommended)
STEP 2: Pre-tighten Components
Use screws to pre-tighten the fixed sleeve, push rod, and fixed bracket together. Do not lock them tightly first to allow for stroke adjustment after installation. Once the stroke is fixed, lock them again.
STEP 3: Connect Brackets
Fixing bracket 1 and fixing bracket 2 are connected with screws. Three holes for fixing bracket 2 can be selected according to different strokes.
STEP 4: Fix Front Bracket
Fix the front bracket with screws.
STEP 5: Fix Fixed Sleeve Direction
Use self-drilling screws to fix the direction of the fixed sleeve (fixed on the stationary feature body).
STEP 6: Fix Front Bracket on Movable Body
Fix the front bracket with self-drilling screws (fixed on the movable feature body).
STEP 7: Adjust Stroke and Operate
The operation involves pushing the window. The stroke can adjust the distance of the fixed block.

6. Function Introduction
- Power On: The LED indicator will flash until it is continuously on, indicating normal operation.
- Remote Control: Features 4 buttons: First (Open), Second (Close), Third (Stop). The fourth button has no function. Supports up to 15 remote controls.
- Program Remote into Receiver (Learning Code): Press and hold the first button on the remote while pressing the learning button on the receiver. The receiver's LED indicator will turn off, entering programming mode. Successful programming is indicated by the receiver's LED indicator flashing twice. If no signal is received within 5 seconds, it will exit programming mode.
- Clear Code from Receiver: Press and hold the learning button for approximately 5 seconds. The LED indicator will flash, confirming all remotes have been cleared.
- Automatically Adjust Motor Speed: The motor can operate at low speed, high speed, low speed, and stop.
- Limit Switch Resistance Functions: If the motor encounters an obstacle during operation, it will stop. The motor also stops when the window is fully opened or closed. No limit switch is required.
Please Note!
After installation, please test the window opener. Ensure the window opens with the first button and closes with the second button on the remote. Adjust motor wiring if necessary.
7. Attentions For General Application
- For technical assistance regarding your mechanism, please contact us before installation.
- Ensure the window facilities or mechanism are functioning correctly before installing the opener.
- Choose the appropriate window opener for your specific application.
- Installation and wiring should be performed by trained, qualified, and experienced electricians.
- Provide the correct power supply (suggested input voltage: 24 VDC / 12 VDC).
- Do not overload the window opener. The maximum load for the PKM-C01B is less than 100 kg.
- The PKM-C01B does not require limit switches.
- Ensure the electricity supply is OFF during installation or maintenance.
- Inspect and maintain the unit every 6 months. Check points include:
- Wiring is fastened and free of corrosion.
- Mounting brackets and screws are securely fastened.
- Mechanism or window frames are not distorted.
- No obstacles or dust on the hinge.
- Replace any defective components before the next operation.
- It is strongly recommended to use GIANT components for optimal performance and reliability.
- Beware of crushing or clamping hazards when the window is closing.
- The Automatic Window Opening System must be planned and installed by a trained and experienced engineer.
- For better performance and a longer lifespan, use GIANT Window Opener with GIANT Window Opener Receiver and Mounting Brackets.
