1 General safety information
Follow all warning and safety notes. Incorrect operation or handling can lead to injury or product damage.
Setting up the product
- Use indoors on a stable, flat surface.
- Position cables to prevent tripping hazards.
- Do not operate in damp rooms. Avoid touching the mains cable with wet hands.
- Ensure sufficient ventilation; do not cover the product or the lens during operation.
- Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
- The product may become warm during prolonged use; it will automatically switch to standby if it overheats.
- If liquids leak into the product, turn it off, disconnect from mains, and have it inspected by an authorized service center.
- Handle with care, avoid touching the lens, and do not place heavy objects on the product or cable.
- If the product emits smoke or gets too hot, shut it down immediately and have it checked by an authorized service center. Keep away from open flames.
- The built-in battery should only be replaced by qualified service staff. Do not attempt to replace it yourself.
- DANGER! Risk of explosion with incorrect type of batteries. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat or open fire.
- To avoid moisture buildup when moving between different temperature areas, seal the product in a plastic bag for an hour before use.
- Avoid dusty environments and extreme vibrations.
- Do not allow children to handle the product unsupervised. Keep packing materials away from children.
- For safety, do not use the product during thunderstorms.
Repairs
Do not repair the product yourself. Repairs must be performed by an authorized service center. Refer to the warranty card for details. Do not remove the type label, as this voids the warranty.

3 Initial operation
Placement
The projector can be installed in various configurations:
- Front table: Place on a table in front of the screen.
- Front ceiling: Mount upside up in front of the screen using a projector mount. Adjust position via Projector Settings > Image > Ceiling > Ceiling Front.
- Rear table: Place on a table behind the screen (requires a special rear projection screen). Adjust position via Projector Settings > Image > Ceiling > Rear.
- Rear ceiling: Mount upside up behind the screen (requires a projector mount and special rear projection screen). Adjust position via Projector Settings > Image > Ceiling > Ceiling Rear.
- Tripod mount: Use the included tripod and ball mount attachment. Do not mount directly to the tripod.
Connect power supply
The projector can be powered by external adapter or built-in battery.
- Use the supplied power adapter or a compatible USB-C PD adapter (60W or higher, 15V/3A or 15V/4A). 20V is not supported.
- Ensure the mains voltage matches the product's voltage. The power outlet should be near and accessible.
- Battery capacity diminishes over time. If the projector only functions with AC power, the battery may be defective. Contact service.
- CAUTION! Always use the power button to turn the projector on and off.
- Turn off and unplug before cleaning. Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquid or flammable cleaners.
- DANGER! Risk of eye irritation from the bright LED. Do not look directly into the lens.
Operation by external power
Connect the USB-C (POWER) port to the power adapter, then connect the adapter to the wall outlet.
Operation by built-in battery
- Charge the projector for 1.5 hours before first use.
- Charge when the low battery icon appears.
- Connect to an external power supply for charging. The LED turns red while charging and off when fully charged.
- External power is used first; unused power charges the battery. For faster charging, power off the projector.
- Notice: Battery capacity diminishes over time. If the projector only works with external power, the battery may be defective.
Prepare the remote control
- CAUTION! Improper battery use can cause overheating, explosion, fire, or injury. Replace batteries promptly and remove them if not in use for extended periods.
- Open the battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity, and close the compartment.
- Notice: Point the remote at the IR sensor on the projector.
Power on and setup
- Press and hold the power button for 1 second to turn the projector on/off.
- The LED turns blue when on (not charging) and red when charging.
Change screen size
Screen size is determined by projection distance. The projection distance should be 1.2 times the width of the desired screen size. Use digital zoom to reduce screen size up to 80% via Projector Settings > Image > Digital Zoom.
Image focus adjustment
- Auto focus adjustment: The projector automatically adjusts focus when repositioned. Enable via Projector Settings > Image > Autofocus Settings.
- Manual focus adjustment: Press the focus button on the remote, then use navigation buttons to adjust clearness. Press again to exit.
Image shape correction
- Auto correction (vertical keystone): Corrects the image to be rectangular when tilting the projector. Enable via Projector Settings > Image > Keystone Correction > Auto Keystone Correction.
- Calibration: For ideal rectangular images when the projector is level. Perform via Projector Settings > Image > Keystone Correction > Calibration.
- Customized correction (4-corner correction): Manually adjust image shape by repositioning four corners. Not available with HDMI or USB-C video input. Adjust via Projector Settings > Image > Keystone Correction > 4-Corner Correction.
- Screen size adjustment (digital scaling): Manually reduce screen size up to 80% via Projector Settings > Image > Digital Zoom.
4 Use home screen
The home screen provides access to Internet applications and settings.
Access system settings
Navigate to the settings icon (top right of the home screen) and press OK. Select Projector Settings.
Access online services
Pre-loaded Internet applications are available. Ensure the projector is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi. Select and open applications using the navigation buttons and OK. Install/uninstall applications via the Aptoide TV app store.
Customize home screen wallpaper
Go to settings, select 'Change Wallpaper', and choose a pre-saved picture.
Screen navigation and keyboard input
The projector offers multiple navigation and input methods.
Use the touchpad
Located on the top of the projector. Move your finger to control the on-screen pointer. Tap to select, use two fingers to scroll. Press the touch button to return to the previous screen.
Use the AirMote control
Pair the remote control with the projector via Bluetooth (Projector Settings > Bluetooth On). Then select 'Philips AirMote' from the device list.
Use wired keyboard/mouse
Connect a USB-A wired keyboard or mouse to the USB port. Use keys/buttons for navigation and input.
Use Bluetooth Keyboard/mouse
Pair your Bluetooth keyboard/mouse via Projector Settings > Bluetooth On. Select the device name from the list.
5 Bluetooth streaming
Wirelessly stream audio to a Bluetooth speaker. Pair the speaker with the projector first.
- Notice: Effective range is approx. 10 meters (30 feet). Obstacles may interrupt streaming. Bluetooth streaming is not available with HDMI or USB-C video input. Use a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network for best performance.
- Bluetooth re-connection: The projector automatically reconnects to the last paired speaker.
- Connection to a second Bluetooth speaker: Disable Bluetooth on the current speaker, then pair the second speaker.
To pair a Bluetooth speaker:
- Turn on your Bluetooth speaker.
- On the projector, go to Projector Settings > Bluetooth On.
- Select your Bluetooth speaker name from the device list.
6 Connect to playback devices
Ensure all devices are disconnected from power before connecting.
Connect to devices through HDMI
- Connect a playback device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console) to the projector's HDMI port using an HDMI cable. Images and audio are played on the projector.
- The projector automatically switches to HDMI input. Manual selection is available via Projector Settings > Input Source > HDMI.
- Notice: The projector supports stereo audio format only. Ensure the playback device is set to stereo output.
Connect to devices through USB-C
- Connect a USB-C device (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop) to the projector's USB-C (VIDEO) port using a USB-C cable. Images and audio are played on the projector.
- The projector automatically switches to USB-C input. Manual selection is available via Projector Settings > Input Source > USB-C.
- Notice: The USB-C (VIDEO) port accepts only video signals. Use the USB-A port for other USB devices.
7 Browse storage devices
Access and play files from local storage or connected devices (USB flash drive, HDD, etc.).
- Connect a USB storage device to the USB port or a Micro SD card to the Micro SD slot.
- Select the File Manager icon on the home screen or via Projector Settings > File Manager.
- Select your connected device or local storage.
- Use navigation buttons and OK to select and open files.
Copy files to the internal storage
The projector has 16GB of internal storage. Copy files from external storage:
- Select a file/folder, press the edit button, and select 'Copy'.
- Go to the internal storage, navigate to a folder, press the edit button, and select 'Paste'.
- Use the edit button to cut or delete files.
Play video from storage devices
Select a video file, press OK, and choose a video player (e.g., 'MX Player Pro'). Use playback controls (pause, play, fast forward/backward) and options menu for settings.
Play music from storage devices
Select a music file, press OK, and choose a music player. Use playback controls and options menu.
Play photo from storage devices
Select a photo file, press OK, and choose a photo player. Use navigation buttons to rotate or select photos. Use the options menu for zoom and music play.
8 Wireless projection
Wirelessly mirror devices to the projection screen:
- Supported devices: iOS, Mac, Android, Windows PC.
Screen mirroring for iOS devices and Mac
- Ensure Wi-Fi is on for your device and the projector.
- Enable AirPlay on the projector via Projector Settings > Mirroring > iOS > AirPlay.
- On your iPhone/iPad, open Control Center, select 'Screen Mirroring', and choose the projector.
- On your Mac, access screen mirroring from the computer screen and select the projector.
- Screen contents will be cast to the projection surface.
Cast video for iOS devices
- Ensure Wi-Fi is on for your device and the projector.
- Enable AirPlay on the projector.
- On your iPhone, tap the TV icon on a video to cast it to the projector.
- Notice: Copy-protected content cannot be streamed.
Screen mirroring for Android devices/Windows PC
- Ensure your Android device or Windows PC supports Miracast (or Screen Mirroring, Screencast, Screen Sharing, Wi-Fi Direct, Wireless Display).
- Ensure Wi-Fi is on for your device and the projector.
- On the projector, go to Projector Settings > Mirroring > Android.
- On your Android device/Windows PC, access screen mirroring settings, select 'Wireless Display', and choose the projector.
- Screen contents will be cast to the projection surface.
- Notice: Google Pixel Phones are not compatible. Copy-protected content cannot be streamed.
9 Change settings
This section details how to change projector settings.
Language and input settings
Go to Projector Settings > Language/Input to change language, time zone, and keyboard input method.
Picture settings
Go to Projector Settings > Image to adjust:
- Brightness Mode: Energy Saver, Normal, Presentation.
- Color Adjustments: Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness (0-100).
- Ceiling: Adjust projection direction.
- Autofocus Settings: Enable/disable autofocus.
- Keystone Correction: Correct keystone or distorted images.
- Auto Keystone Correction: Enable/disable auto correction when tilting.
- Calibration: Perform if auto correction is not ideal.
- 4-Corner Correction: Manually adjust image shape (not available with HDMI/USB-C input).
- Digital Zoom: Scale image from 80%-100% (not available with HDMI/USB-C input).
Power control settings
Go to Projector Settings > Power to access Shutdown and Timed Shutdown options.
Restore default settings
Go to Projector Settings > Software Update > Factory Reset. Follow on-screen instructions. Notice: Resetting erases installed apps and files; back up data first.
Clear memory storage
Go to Projector Settings > System Cleaner > Cleaner to clear browsing history, installation packages, and system memory.
10 Service
Built-in battery care
- Battery capacity diminishes over time. Charge regularly. Avoid storing with a discharged battery. Discharge slightly before storing for long periods. Keep away from heat.
- If the projector cannot be charged, use a pin to press the reset key near the USB port.
- Note about deep discharge: Deep discharge may require longer charging. Charge for at least five hours.
- DANGER! Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery yourself.
Cleaning
- DANGER! Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquid or flammable cleaners. Do not spray cleaning fluids. Avoid moisture inside the projector. Wipe gently to avoid scratching.
- Cleaning the lens: Use a soft brush or lens cleaning paper. Do not use liquid cleaning agents.
Update software
Check for the latest software on www.philips.com/support. Check current version via Projector Settings > About.
Update software through Internet
- Connect to the Internet.
- Go to Projector Settings > Software Update > Software Update > Check.
- Follow on-screen instructions to update. CAUTION! Do not turn off the projector or remove the USB drive during the update.
Update software through USB
- Check www.philips.com/support for the latest software.
- Download the zipped software file to the root directory of a USB flash drive (do not unzip).
- Connect the USB flash drive to the projector. Recommend using external power for updates.
- Go to Projector Settings > Software Update > Software Update > Offline Upgrade.
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Troubleshooting
- The projector cannot be turned on or powered: Disconnect and reconnect power cable. Check battery power and use the original power adapter or a compatible USB-C PD adapter (60W+, 15V/3A or 4A).
- The projector is charged slowly: External power is used first; unused power charges the battery. Charge while powered off for faster charging.
- The projector turns itself off: Low battery power. The surface may become hot; ensure proper ventilation (30 cm clearance). Check power cable connection.
- LED flashes red and blue: Incorrect or insufficient power supply. Use the original adapter or a compatible USB-C PD adapter (60W+, 15V/3A or 4A).
- The projector cannot be turned off: Press and hold the power button for longer than 30 seconds.
- Bluetooth or video streaming not smooth: Ensure sufficient Wi-Fi bandwidth. Avoid interference from other devices. Use a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- No image from external HDMI device: Disconnect/reconnect HDMI cable or device. Check cables.
- No sound from external connected device: Check cables. Ensure sound is activated on the external device. Use original manufacturer cables.
- No sound from external HDMI output device: Set audio to Stereo (PCM) on the HDMI output device.
- No sound when connecting computer via HDMI: Ensure sound is activated on the computer and set to output to the projector. Check cable connections.
- Only home menu appears, not external device image: Check cable connections. Ensure the external device is turned on. Check if video output is turned on.
- Only home menu appears, not connected computer image: Check computer resolution is set to 1080P.
- Projector cannot read USB stick: The projector does not support exFAT file system. Format USB stick in FAT format.
- Projector does not react to remote control: Check remote control batteries. Check for new firmware updates.
- Screen Mirroring not working after firmware update: Check for new projector firmware updates.
- Screen mirroring not working with Android device: Ensure device supports Miracast. Refer to device manual for details.
- Video/sound distortion or sync issues: Insufficient Wi-Fi bandwidth. Smartphone may not be fast enough to compress/send data. Ensure only one parallel connection to the home network and projector. Disabling home network connection may help.
- Projector surface is warm: It is normal for the projector to generate moderate heat during operation.
- Projector not working when connected to notebook PC: Check HDMI cable connection. Ensure the notebook PC is switched to projector display.

Connect only to USB interface version USB 2.0 or higher. Adapter must be near and accessible. Operating temperature: 5°C - 35°C. The UNII Band 5150-5250 MHz is for indoor use only.
