Safety Precautions

Warnings

• Do not eat the fountain or any of its accessories. Use the pet fountain in a dry, indoor environment.
• Do not place the pet fountain in a high location.
• Place the pet fountain on a flat surface during use. Do not tilt or invert the pet fountain.
• Do not add hot water to the water tank.
• To prevent pets from chewing the power cable and causing electric shock, tidy up the power cable and keep it out of your pet's reach.
• Do not disassemble or repair the pet fountain yourself.
• Do not use any non-original accessories. Xiaomi is only responsible for the performance and safety of officially provided accessories.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety or instructed on the use of the appliance.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• The appliance shall only be used with the power supply unit supplied with the appliance.
• The appliance shall only be powered by a safety very low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if supervised or instructed on the safe use of the appliance and the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children without supervision.
• Under normal usage conditions, this device should be kept at least 20 cm between the antenna and the user's body.

Cautions

• Disconnect the pet fountain from the electrical outlet before disassembling and cleaning. Do not immerse the fountain or power cable in water.
• Before first use, clean the inside of the water tank, cover, and filter bowl with water. Do not use hot or boiled water to clean these parts.
• When the filter leaves the factory, it may have a small amount of powder attached, which is normal. The powder can be washed off with clean water.
• It is recommended to replace the filter, pre-filter, and filter holder every month, and the water tube every two months.

How to Install

1. Before installation, open the cover and clean all parts.

Note: Do not use hot or boiled water to clean the parts.

2. Rinse the filter with clean water for two minutes to remove floating carbon powder generated by collisions of activated carbon during transport.

Note: If the water pump becomes loose, reconnect it to the water tube.

Recommendation: It is recommended to replace the filter, pre-filter, and filter holder every month, and the water tube every two months. Thoroughly clean components including the water tank, cover, filter bowl, filter, pre-filter, and water pump at least every seven days.

How to Use

1. Connect the power cable to the power port on the bottom of the pet fountain.

2. Remove the water tank, fill it with water, and reinstall it. Then close the cover.

3. Plug the power cable into an electrical outlet, and the pet fountain will start working.

4. The pet fountain automatically shuts off when the cover is opened, allowing you to add water to the tank.

Water Dispensing Modes

Standard Mode

In this mode, the pet fountain can dispense water continuously.

Smart Mode

In this mode, the pet fountain dispenses water as follows:

• 8:00-22:00: Dispenses water for 10 minutes, then stops for 10 minutes, and then dispenses again.
• 22:00-8:00 (next day): Dispenses water for 10 minutes, then stops for 50 minutes, and then dispenses again.

Note: Water dispensing time may vary when the pet fountain is offline.

Indicator Description

Mode Indicator

Water Level Indicator

• Red: Low water, refill the water tank in time.
• Red flashing: Water pump is blocked, please clean it in time.

Note: The standard mode indicator lights up when the pet fountain is operating in standard mode, and the smart mode indicator lights up when in smart mode. When the pet fountain is in operation, either of the two indicators will light up.

Button Description

Function Button

• Press: Switch between Standard mode or Smart mode for water dispensing.
• Press and hold for 2 seconds: The pet fountain enters standby mode and stops dispensing water. Press again to resume water dispensing.
• Press and hold for 6 seconds: The indicator flashes blue. Reset Wi-Fi connection and restore factory settings.

Filter Reset Button

• After replacing the filter with a new one, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to reset the filter. You can check the remaining filter life in the app.
• Press and hold for 7 seconds: Enable or disable Wi-Fi. When Wi-Fi is enabled, the indicator flashes blue; when Wi-Fi is disabled, the indicator stays solid blue for 2 seconds and then turns off.

Connecting with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App

This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app*. Control your device using the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.

Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be redirected to the connection settings page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in the app store and download it.

Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" in the top right corner, and then add your device according to the instructions.

* The app is designated as Xiaomi Home in Europe (excluding Russia). The app name displayed on your device should be considered the default.

Care and Maintenance

Pet Fountain Maintenance

• Regularly check that the power cable and power port are in good condition and function correctly.
• Check if the ends of the water tube are loose.
• Regularly check that the power contact pins on the cover and the power contact points on the main body function correctly. You can wipe the pins and contacts with a dry, soft cloth.
• Check and clean the magnetic fan blades in the water pump.

Cleaning the Water Pump

1. Open the cover and remove the water pump.
2. Remove the pre-filter and its holder from the water pump.
3. Remove the water pump cover.
4. Remove the magnetic fan blade assembly.
5. Clean all parts of the water pump and then reinstall them.

Note: It is recommended to thoroughly clean components including the water tank, cover, filter bowl, filter, pre-filter, and water pump at least every 7 days. It is also recommended to change the water every 7 days to ensure water quality and dispensing are not affected by filter bowl clogging.
