Installation

Proper installation ensures the safe and efficient operation of your washing machine.

1. Choosing a Location

Install the washing machine on a firm, level floor. Avoid installing it on carpet or uneven surfaces. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

2. Leveling the Machine

The washing machine must be perfectly level to prevent noise and vibration. Adjust the leveling feet by turning them clockwise or counterclockwise until the machine is stable and does not rock.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the bottom of the washing machine with adjustable feet. Arrows indicate how to turn the feet to adjust the height and level the appliance.

3. Connecting the Water Supply

Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap. Ensure the rubber washer is in place at both ends of the hose. Connect the other end of the hose to the water inlet valve on the back of the washing machine.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows a water tap, the inlet hose with a rubber washer at the tap end, and the hose being connected to the water inlet valve on the rear of the washing machine.

4. Connecting the Drain Hose

The drain hose can be routed to a standpipe, a sink drain, or a floor drain. Ensure the end of the drain hose is securely positioned to prevent it from falling out during draining. The height of the drain hose outlet should be between 60 cm and 90 cm from the floor.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows three options for drain hose placement: connected to a standpipe, connected to a sink trap, and draped over the edge of a sink. It also indicates the recommended height range for the drain outlet.

5. Electrical Connection

Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet voltage matches the machine's requirements.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the power plug being inserted into a grounded wall socket.

Cleaning the Exterior

Cleaning the Detergent Drawer

Pull out the detergent drawer and wash it under running water. Use a small brush to clean any residue. Ensure it is dry before reinserting.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the detergent drawer being pulled out and rinsed under a tap. A small brush is shown cleaning the compartments.

Cleaning the Drum

Periodically run a drum cleaning cycle or a hot wash cycle (e.g., 90°C) with an empty drum to prevent odor buildup and remove residue.

Cleaning the Drain Filter

The drain filter collects lint and small objects. Clean it regularly (e.g., every 1-2 months) or when an error code indicates a blockage.

  • Screw the filter back in clockwise and close the access panel.

Cleaning the Water Inlet Filter

The water inlet filter prevents impurities from entering the machine. Clean it if the water supply is slow or the machine does not fill properly.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the rear of the washing machine where the water inlet hose connects. It depicts unscrewing the hose, locating the filter screen inside the inlet valve, and cleaning it with a brush or cloth.
