Product and Battery Disposal
VTech toys are electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) which, at the end of their life, will be subject to selective collection for recycling. To preserve the environment, VTech recommends removing and disposing of used batteries in designated containers, and then depositing the end-of-life toy at collection points available in stores or in your community.
The crossed-out trash bin symbol [crossed-out trash bin] on products and batteries or their respective packaging indicates that electrical and electronic equipment, as well as batteries, must not be disposed of in household waste, as they contain substances that can be harmful to the environment and health.
When Hg, Cd, or Pb symbols are indicated, it means the battery contains more mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) than the value specified in Directive 2006/66/CE on batteries and accumulators.
The solid bar under the crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates that the product was placed on the market after August 13, 2005.
Contribute to environmental protection by sorting your used products and batteries.
