BWP03 Price Computing Scales User Manual
5.3.2 Zero
Environmental conditions can cause a measurement to be displayed even when the scale pan is empty. To set the current measurement as zero, press the 1 key. A Zero indicator will illuminate on the display to signify that the scale has been zeroed successfully.
5.3.3 Tare
The weight of any container can be tared (subtracted from the total measurement) using the Tare key.
- Place the container on the scale pan.
- Press the Tare key. The Tare indicator will light up on the display and adjust the current weight reading to zero.
- If you remove the container from the scale pan, the tare weight will show as a negative value.
- To clear the tare weight, remove the container from the scale pan and press the Tare key. The display will show the weight as zero, meaning that the tare weight has been cleared.
5.3.4 Unit Conversion
To initiate unit conversion, press and hold the Unit key with your left hand. While holding the Unit key, press the Mode key with your right hand, then release both keys simultaneously. Quickly press the Mode key twice before the scale completes initialization. This will lead you to the parameter setting mode, indicated by L = 100* or similar on the display.
The scale can display weight in different units such as gram, pound, and kilogram.
5.3.5 Sending (Counting Mode)
Power on the scale and allow it to initialize in weighing mode. Once stabilized, press the Count key to activate counting mode, indicated by the illuminated Count indicator on the display. To choose a sample size, press the Scroll key button to cycle through the available options: 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, or 500.
Place the exact number of items on the scale. The number will continue to blink until the scale emits a double beep after a few seconds, confirming the sample size has been registered. Following this setup, as you add more of the same type of item onto the scale, it will automatically calculate and display the correct piece count.
For counting different items, remove any existing items from the scale pan and press the Count key button to cycle through the sample size options once again. Choose the appropriate number for your new batch of items and follow the established procedure: place the exact number of samples on the scale, wait for the blinking to cease and the confirmation beep. This method can be repeated to efficiently count multiple types of items with the scale.
To exit counting mode, simply press the Count key.
5.3.6 Switching
This section likely refers to switching between modes or functions, but specific details are not provided beyond the context of other sections.
5.3.7 Power Connection
Locate the black silicone plug at the bottom of the scale. Carefully remove it to reveal the charging jack. Connect the charging adapter to the jack, and then plug the adapter's other end into a properly grounded AC power socket.
5.4 Rechargeable Battery
- A low battery indicator (Battery icon) will appear on the display in the bottom left corner to signify that the battery is low.
- When charging the battery, ensure the original adapter is securely connected to the device's adapter jack.
- The Charging icon displays on the bottom left corner of the display, signifying charging status and is visible only when the scale is turned on. No charging indicator will be shown when the scale is off.
- The battery takes approximately 8 hours to fully recharge and will continue to charge even if the device is powered off.
- If the Full Charge indicator (e.g., a battery symbol with no empty segments) appears on the display, the battery has a full charge.
- To prevent overcharging and extend the lifespan of the battery, unplug the charger when you see the full charge message.
- After the low battery indicator is activated, the scale can continue to operate for approximately 5 hours before it shuts off.
- Only use the original adapter to charge your device, as other adapters may cause damage.
- Do not use any AC electrical socket that has not been properly grounded.
5.5 Battery Life Maintenance
Recharge the battery when you see the low battery indicator for the best long-term performance. Avoid waiting until the battery is completely discharged.
