Attaching and Removing Accessories
Ensure the Hand Blender is unplugged. To attach: Hold the Main Body, align the indent with the unlock symbol. Push and twist the accessory clockwise until aligned. To remove: Unplug and reverse the procedure.
Using the Wand
The Wand is for liquidising or mixing ingredients. Place ingredients into a tall container to avoid splashing. Insert the Wand deep into the mixture, ensuring the depth does not exceed the 'Max' marks on the shaft and the Wand foot is submerged. Plug in, set speed to minimum, press Power Button to start. Release Power Button to stop. Unplug after use. Remove Wand from Main Body and Jug/pan before pouring. Clean parts immediately.
Using the Chopper Bowl & Gearbox
The Chopper Bowl is handy for dry ingredients. For best results, use short, regular 1-second pulses. Ensure the Hand Blender is unplugged. Insert the blade over the Chopper Bowl shaft (caution: blades are sharp!). Distribute ingredients evenly in the Bowl (pre-cut to approx. 2cm cubes, do not fill above MAX). Never put food in before the blade. Place Lid on Bowl and rotate clockwise to lock, aligning Feed Tube and Spout. Attach Gearbox to the centre of the Lid. Plug in, set speed to minimum, press Power Button to start chopping. Pulse for a maximum of 25 seconds for meats/tough ingredients, 30 seconds for liquids/soft ingredients. Remove Feed Tube Cover and add ingredients down the Feed Tube (never reach in with fingers/utensils). Replace Feed Tube Cover. When chopping is complete, release Power Button and unplug. Lift Main Body and Gearbox vertically off the Lid. Remove Gearbox from Main Body by twisting anti-clockwise. Rotate Lid anti-clockwise to remove. If scraping, remove blades first (caution: sharp edges). Clean parts immediately.
Using the Balloon Whisk with Gearbox
The Balloon Whisk is for incorporating air into light ingredients. Use the supplied Jug for whisking to prevent splashing. Ensure the Hand Blender is unplugged. Attach Gearbox to Main Body securely. Hold Main Body and Whisk stem, insert Whisk with a slight twist and push until it clicks. Plug in, dip Whisk into mixture, set speed to minimum. Press Power Button to start whisking. Release Power Button to stop. Remove Whisk by holding Main Body/Gearbox and pulling Whisk downwards. Remove Gearbox from Main Body. Clean parts immediately.

USEFUL TIPS
- Roughly chop ingredients before blending for best results.
- Hold the Chopper Bowl or Jug steady during use.
- Use a high-sided bowl for blending even small amounts to prevent splattering.
- The variable speed control can vary the speed of the motor from 7000-16000rpm. For best results start blending on the lowest setting and gradually increase the blending speed.
- For best results, work through the ingredients with a gentle up and down movement of the main body.
- To store a mixture in the Jug, cover and refrigerate as required.
- Mixing: The Jug is ideal for smoothies or frothy coffee. Use the wand for mixtures with solids like fruits or ice cream.
- Whisking: Tip a bowl at a safe angle to incorporate more air for lighter mixtures and increased volume. Ensure bowls and whisks are spotless for egg whites. Start slowly and increase speed as the mixture turns white.
- Chopping: Chop onions, garlic, cheese, and cooked vegetables quickly. Produce fresh breadcrumbs easily. Use cooked leftovers for nourishing soups.
