Know Your Xstream Box
Rear Panel
- 1. SAT IN: For connecting the signal cable from the antenna.
- 2. Audio Out (L/R): For connecting to the audio input of a TV or monitor.
- 3. Video Out: For connecting to the video input jack on a TV or monitor.
- 4. SPDIF: Digital audio output.
- 5. HDMI Out: Connect to the HDMI IN jack on an HDMI compatible TV or monitor.
- 6. USB Port: For connecting USB devices.
- 7. ETHERNET: For wired internet connection.
- 8. Power: Connect the supplied AC adaptor here.

Airtel Xstream Box supports the latest HDMI 2.0 with backward compatibility. Your TV should be HDCP compliant to use applications like Amazon Prime, Netflix, or any other app that requires the same.
Getting Started
Step 1: Connect Signal Cable
Connect your signal cable (coming from the antenna) to the SAT IN port (1) at the rear of the Xstream box.
Step 2: Connect HDMI Cable
Connect the provided HDMI cable to the HDMI port (2) at the rear of the Xstream box.
Step 3: Connect to TV
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV's HDMI port (3).
Step 4: Connect Power Adaptor
Connect the other end of the power adaptor to the DC IN port (4) at the rear of the Xstream box.
Step 5: Power On
Connect the power adaptor to the power switch (5), then turn on the TV and Xstream box.
Setting up your Xstream Box
Initial Steps
- Click the "Skip" button using the Airtel remote.
- Click the "Skip" button to move to the next step.
- Connect to Wi-Fi or skip if an internet connection is not available.
- Sign in with your Google ID for regular updates.
LNB Setup
Before proceeding, please check that the Set-top Box is connected according to the instructions in the user manual.

Select LNB type as Universal. (If you do not see this screen, skip to Step 9).
Signal Lock
Please wait while the device is fetching channel information.
Scan Signal Strength
Scan the signal strength and press OK.
Finalizing Setup
Select "Skip" to move to the next screen.
The Xstream box will initialize and land on the home screen.
MDU Customers having Unicable Setup
Tune to channel 121. If it shows "No Signal" or a "Blank screen", follow the steps below to change the LNB Settings to Unicable.
Follow these steps to access the LNB setting page and make required changes:
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Navigate to the Settings option using the remote and press OK.
Step 2: Advanced Settings and Satellite Scan
Scroll to Advanced Settings and select the Satellite Scan tab.
Step 3: Open LNB Selection Menu
On Satellite Scan, simultaneously press the "Option" button and the "Numeric 1" key, then the "Option" button and the "Numeric 2" key, and then the "Option" button and the "Numeric 3" key to open the LNB Selection page/menu.
Step 4: Change LNB Type
Change the LNB Type to "Unicable" using the remote navigation keys and select the "Next" tab.
Step 5: Select Satellite TP
Select "SES-7 TP 11".
Step 6: Signal Page
On the signal page, select the "Next" button to move on.
Xstream Voice Search
How to Use
Say it to search it:
- Press the Google Assistant Key.
- A window will appear on the bottom of the screen: "How can I help you?".
- Hold the remote close to your chin.
- Speak the name of the content you wish to view.
- Click on Play.
Note: Google sign-in and internet connection are mandatory for voice search.
Remote Buttons
- TV On/Off: Turns the TV on or off.
- TV Channels: Navigates TV channels.
- Mic: Activates voice input.
- Google Assistant: Accesses Google Assistant.
- Options: Opens context-specific options.
- Home Button: Returns to the home screen.
- Dedicated App Button: Launches a specific application.
- Messages: Accesses message notifications.
- Volume: Adjusts TV volume.
- Navigation (Up, Down, Left, Right): Navigates menus.
- OK: Selects an item.
- Back: Goes back to the previous screen.
- Apps: Accesses the applications menu.
- Netflix: Direct access to Netflix.
- Prime Video: Direct access to Prime Video.
