Extra Tools You Need (Not Supplied)

  • Stud Awl
  • Wood Finder
  • Drill Bit (for wood studs, e.g., 5/32" / 4mm)
  • Drill Bit (for concrete wall, e.g., 3/8" / 10mm)
  • Hammer
  • Concrete Masonry Wall Anchor (required for concrete installation)
  • Pencil
  • Electrodrill
  • Socket Wrench
  • Screwdriver
  • Band Tape

Step 1: Attach Brackets to TV

1-1 Select TV Screws

Illustrations show M4, M6, and M8 screws. Examples demonstrate incorrect screw lengths ('Too Short', 'Too Long') and incorrect orientation ('Not Vertical'), contrasted with correct screw selection and placement. Choose the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers for your TV's back panel design.

1-2 Need Spacer?

Use spacers between the TV bracket and the TV back panel if: there is a need for more spacing, the TV back is protruded, or the TV back has counterbore holes. If the TV back is flat and flush, spacers may not be needed. Ensure screws are not too long or too short.

1-3 Attach Brackets to TV

Attach the TV brackets (I, J) to the back of your TV using the selected screws and washers. Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly with the "Arrow Up" indicator pointing upwards. Push the brackets upward to reduce the gap between the holes and screws for easier alignment. Do not overtighten the screws using an electrodrill, as this may damage your TV.

Step 2: Assemble the Mount

2-1 Assemble Wall Plates

Assemble the two wall plates (H) using bolts (D), washers (E), and nuts (F). Ensure the top edges of the wall plates are kept horizontal. Fasten the nuts (F) securely using the wrench (C).

2-2 Attach Wall Plate Cover

Buckle the wall plate cover (K) onto the assembled wall plates (H).

Step 3: Attach Wall Plate to Wall

3-A OPTION A: Wood Stud Installation

A-1 Locate Studs and Mark

Use a stud awl and wood finder to locate wood studs. Verify and mark the center line of the stud. Ensure the drywall covering the wall does not exceed 5/8 inch (16mm). Place the wall plate (H) against the wall, aligning its holes with the stud center line. Use a bubble level (T1) to ensure the wall plate is level. Mark the pilot hole locations on the wall.

A-2 Drill Pilot Holes

Drill pilot holes at the marked locations using a 7/32 inch (5.5mm) diameter drill bit. IMPORTANT: Do not drill holes into locations where water pipes or electrical wires are present. Be sure to drill into the center of the stud.

A-3 Install Wall Plate

Mount the wall plate assembly directly onto the wood studs using lag bolts (A). Use a socket wrench for tightening. Do not use anchors when installing onto wood studs. CAUTION: To avoid potential personal injury or property damage, all 4 lag bolts (A) MUST BE firmly tightened to prevent unwanted movement of the wall plate assembly. Ensure the wall plate assembly is securely fastened to the wall before continuing.

3-B OPTION B: Solid Concrete Wall Installation

B-1 Mark Pilot Holes

Place the wall plate (H) against the solid concrete wall. Use a bubble level (T1) to ensure the wall plate is level. Mark the pilot hole locations on the concrete surface.

B-2 Drill Pilot Holes

Drill pilot holes into the concrete wall using a 3/8 inch (10mm) diameter drill bit. IMPORTANT: Do not drill holes into locations where water pipes, electrical wires, or mortar between blocks are present.

B-3 Install Wall Plate with Anchors

Insert concrete masonry wall anchors (not included) into the drilled holes. Ensure the anchors are seated flush with the concrete surface. Mount the wall plate assembly using lag bolts (A) and the anchors. Use a socket wrench for tightening. CAUTION: To avoid potential personal injury or property damage, all 6 lag bolts (A) MUST BE firmly tightened to prevent unwanted movement of the wall plate assembly. Ensure the wall plate assembly is securely fastened to the wall before continuing.

Step 4: Hang and Secure TV to Wall Plate

Before hanging the TV, please conduct a "wall plate installation integrity test". Hang the TV assembly onto the wall plate. NOTE: Please plug in the cables before hanging up the TV because of the low-profile design. This step requires two people for safe execution.

Step 5: Adjustments (If necessary)

5-1 Leveling Adjustment

If the TV appears unlevel (indicated by 'X'), turn the adjustment screw on the lower bracket clockwise until the TV is level. The maximum leveling adjustment is 15mm.

5-2 Tilt Adjustment

To adjust the tilt angle, loosen the two tilting bolts. Pull the brackets to your desired angle (e.g., +10° or -15°). Fasten the two tilting bolts securely.

Vertical Position Option

To keep the TV in a vertical position, use two M4 screws (MA) inserted into the designated holes on the two brackets respectively.
