Important Safety Information
Before riding, it is crucial to read and understand this entire Owner's Manual. The manual contains vital safety, performance, and service information. The latest version is available at lectricebikes.com/manual. Riding a bicycle, including an eBike, involves inherent risks. By choosing to ride, you accept responsibility for these risks. Familiarize yourself with safe riding practices and proper maintenance to reduce the risk of injury. If you have any questions or concerns, consult your local bicycle shop or Lectric eBikes.
This manual is not a comprehensive service or repair guide. For service, repairs, or maintenance, please consult your local bicycle shop. They may also offer classes or resources on eBike use and maintenance.
Your Lectric eBike is classified as an EPAC (Electrically Power Assisted Cycle), also known as a Pedelec.
Rider's Responsibility Regarding Regulations
Riders are responsible for obeying all applicable eBike regulations in their area. These regulations vary by state and municipality, covering aspects like minimum rider age, licensing, insurance, traffic laws, and speed limits. It is essential to be aware of and comply with these local regulations, which are subject to change.
Intended Use
The Lectric eBike is intended for use by one adult rider (age 18 and up) for general transportation and recreational purposes. Any other use is prohibited and may lead to serious injury or death. The eBike is not designed for off-road use, mountain biking, or jumping, even if equipped with suspension features. Riders should be proficient cyclists (18+) and ride on paved surfaces, roadways, or designated bicycle lanes. Avoid riding on pedestrian paths or sidewalks. Do not use the eBike to tow another bicycle; consult the manual for trailer towing information.
