The STOCKHOLM collection, celebrating 40 years of design excellence, continues its legacy with the STOCKHOLM 2025 edition. This collection embodies the best of IKEA design, combining unique craftsmanship, carefully selected materials, and meticulous attention to detail.

With 96 precisely designed pieces, from sofas to tableware, STOCKHOLM 2025 showcases Scandinavian design in its full splendor. It offers refined aesthetics and impeccable quality at accessible prices, making beauty attainable for everyone.

Designer Insights

"Karin had a vision for this chandelier, and I felt it even if it seemed a bit abstract at first. I wanted to start with wood, maybe fabric, but in the end, we turned to glass. Today, it has a simplicity that perfectly suits the STOCKHOLM collection and me as a designer."

"We wanted this collection to evoke a home furnished over time, even if the pieces were bought simultaneously. The idea is to create an organic and authentic atmosphere. Although created by three designers, our shared vision allows the pieces to complement each other harmoniously."

"Nature plays an essential role in our creations. Living in Scandinavia allows us to experience the changing seasons, which inspire our color palettes and shapes. For example, my walks in the countryside influenced me: I captured hues reflecting the greenery of spring or the muted tones of winter. Nature is a designer's best friend – every color harmonizes perfectly there, guiding this collection."

Materials and Craftsmanship

The collection emphasizes quality materials and traditional techniques:

The STOCKHOLM 2025 collection is the result of a three-year process guided by an ambition to create a collection without compromise, where each piece embodies the essence of quality. Rugs are hand-woven by artisans preserving ancestral know-how. Chairs are made of solid oak, gaining character over time. Each vase is mouth-blown, and chandeliers come with white gloves for refined assembly.
