HMI WING HY Control Panel Manual

Version 04.2021

Product Overview

The HMI WING HY is a control panel designed for all types of WING EC air curtains. It features an intuitive interface with a touch keypad and a backlit screen, ensuring ease of use. Constructed from high-quality electronic materials, it is designed for continuous operation on a 230 V AC single-phase power supply. The controller is easily installed in a standard Ø60 mm flush mounting box using a provided mounting bracket, which also facilitates easy removal. Electrical connections are made directly to a terminal block on the rear of the unit. The panel allows for three-stage regulation of fan speed for EC motors and three-stage regulation of heating power. An integrated thermostat and programmer function enable weekly scheduling of operating parameters, including separate settings for weekdays and weekends, with up to four heating periods per day.

Automatic Operation Modes

With an external door sensor installed, the controller offers three automatic operation modes:

The HMI WING HY controller optimizes air curtain operation for continuous and reliable performance, with features designed for significant energy savings.

Control Panel Interface and Operation

Wi-Fi Communication and Tuya Smart App

The HMI WING HY controller supports Wi-Fi communication and can be controlled via the Tuya Smart application, available for Android and iOS devices.

First Connection:

  1. Ensure both your smartphone and the HMI controller are within the same network range. Enabling GPS on your phone can facilitate the connection process.
  2. In the Tuya app, find "Thermostat" under the "small devices" category.
  3. On the controller, press and hold the "fan" and "set" buttons until the Wi-Fi icons appear and start blinking.
  4. Confirm the connection attempt in the Tuya app and enter your Wi-Fi network password. Connection may take several minutes. The icons will stop blinking once connected.

Subsequent connections follow the same procedure. Once paired, the controller and phone do not need to be in the same Wi-Fi network.

Control via App:

The Tuya Smart app allows users to view and modify all controller functions. Advanced settings require the password: 123456. Control can be managed through either the app or the controller itself.

Door Optimum Function

The "Door Optimum" function (setting AA) allows for adjusting fan speed based on door status:

This function's behavior depends on the operating mode:

Extra Heating Time Function

The B1 function allows programming a room heating period after the door closes, with a duration adjustable from 0 to 90 seconds.
