Intended Use
The machine is intended for vacuuming and blowing of materials that are not hazardous to health. It is not suitable for vacuuming or blowing flammable materials, metal chips, or sharp objects.

Operating Instructions
Blowing (see figure A)
For blowing operation, firmly attach the nozzle (7) to the air outlet (5) in alignment with the arrow mark.
Vacuuming (see figure B)
For vacuuming operation, firmly attach the nozzle (7) to the air intake (9) in alignment with the arrow mark. Additionally, always mount the dust bag (8) onto the air outlet (5).
Starting Operation
Observe the mains voltage; it must correspond with the data on the machine's rating plate.
Switching On and Off
- To start, press the On/off switch (2).
- To lock the switch, press and hold it, then push the lock-on button (3).
- To switch off, release the On/off switch (2). If locked, press and release it.
Regulating Air Flow
Adjust the required air volume by turning the thumb-wheel (4): Clockwise increases air volume; counter-clockwise reduces it.
Working Advice
- During blowing, ensure no debris is drawn into the air intake (9).
- Never vacuum without a dust bag.
- Do not vacuum sharp-edged or hot materials (e.g., glass splinters, hot ash, metal chips).
- Empty the dust bag regularly when vacuuming.
- Observe environmental regulations when disposing of waste.
Service and Maintenance
- Before any work on the machine, disconnect the mains plug.
- Keep the machine and ventilation clean for safe and proper working.
- If the machine fails, repairs should be carried out by an after-sales service center. If the supply cord needs replacement, it must be done by an authorized service agent.
Carbon Brushes (see Figure C)
Check carbon brush length approximately every 2-3 months and replace if necessary. Never replace only one carbon brush. Replace both if wear line is visible on either.
Note: Use only Bormann-supplied carbon brushes specifically intended for your product.
- Unscrew caps (6) with a suitable screwdriver.
- Replace spring-loaded carbon brushes and screw caps back on.
