Third-Party Certifications
The Aquaperform system has undergone rigorous third-party testing and verification:
- NSF certified to treat contaminants of Aesthetic Concern (Standard 42).
- NSF certified to treat contaminants of Health Concern (Standard 53).
- NSF certified to treat Emerging Contaminants (Standard 401).
Installation Options
The Aquaperform system offers several installation configurations to suit different needs:
Base System
The base Aquaperform system can be integrated inline with existing plumbing (e.g., faucets, ice makers) without additional plumbing hardware. It is compatible with separate below-sink and countertop accessories.
Below-Sink Kit
This kit provides a permanent installation beneath the sink. It includes a stand-alone chrome faucet and necessary hardware to mount the system to a cabinet wall. The system connects to the cold water line using an included Adapta Valve. Installation requires a 0.5" hole in the countertop or sink for the faucet. The system can be converted for countertop use with an optional kit or placed on the cabinet floor with an optional base.
Countertop Kit
The standard countertop kit includes a dual-hose diverter valve and an acrylic base for placement on the counter. The system connects to the sink faucet via the diverter valve, which dispenses filtered water from its own spigot. A push-button allows selection between filtered and unfiltered water.
Single Hose Diverter Kit
This kit features a single-hose diverter valve and an acrylic base for countertop placement. It connects to the sink faucet, and filtered water is dispensed from a faucet attached to the top of the system housing. A push-button allows selection between filtered and unfiltered water.

Important Usage and Maintenance Notes
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the unit.
- Filter life varies with water usage and impurity levels. Replace filters annually, when rated capacity is reached, flow diminishes, or taste/odor issues arise.
- Flush new or replaced filter cartridges for 15 minutes before use.
- Protect the unit from freezing temperatures; drain and remove filter if exposed.
- Avoid leaving water in the unit for extended periods (over 10 days). If unused for more than 10 days, drain the system, remove filters, and flush for approximately 10 minutes upon return.
- New York residents: It is recommended to test your water supply before purchasing to determine specific treatment needs.
- Actual performance may vary from laboratory conditions.
- The list of reduced substances does not imply their presence in your tap water.
- Multipure's MP880 Series is tested for pentavalent arsenic (As(V)) at concentrations of 0.30 mg/L or less. It may not reduce other forms of arsenic. Use on water supplies with a detectable free chlorine residual or only pentavalent arsenic. Treatment with chloramine may not be sufficient for complete conversion of trivalent arsenic.
- Ensure system and installation comply with state and local laws and regulations.
- The system is not intended for treating wastewater or raw sewage.
