New in Enterprise Browser 5.5.0.12
- Now supports single .apk for all deployments, including SAP. From this release onwards, all users will download the EB for Android SAP bundle, modifying settings contained in the included Config.xml as needed.
- Now supports a set of managed configurations that can be created and delivered using Zebra DNA Cloud (from the My Collection section) or a company's own EMM system, enabling administrators to deploy preconfigured settings for EB apps using non-proprietary specifications. See Usage Notes, below. Learn more about Enterprise Browser managed configs.
- Now EB supports use of a company name as the subscription type license.
- Supports single Zip-file extraction with SSM to help ease deployment. The EB Config.xml file and/or any of its optional config file(s) can be bundled as a single ebconfig.zip file.
- The OCR demo feature now supports API usage, which (for example) allows for the transfer of an image from a specified DataWedge contentURI to a user-specified path accessible by EB apps. Also supports the %INSTALLDIR% substitution variable.
Resolved Issues
- SPR-55231, SPR-55883 - Now EB supports Network Upload API with HTTPS pages.

Usage Notes
- Managed configs and Config.xml methods CANNOT be used in combination.
- To convert to the SAP bundle to the standard package, copy the Config.xml from /android_regular on the device to the /enterprise/device/enterprisebrowser device folder.
- To use Enterprise Keyboard custom or SAP layouts, the encrypted layout file(s) must be deployed to the device folder: /enterprise/device/settings/ekb/config.
- Debug buttons and Address Bar are not designed for use in production environments and can result in undesirable behavior.
- Disabling AutoRotate configuration tag is not supported for tablets in this release.
- WORKAROUND: Use LockOrientation configuration tag instead.
