Diagram Description: A visual shows a solar panel connected to the DC input port of the power station. The DC input port is labeled 'DC 12V-24V'. The recommended solar panel size is indicated as 100W.
How to Use the 300W Power Station
- Press the power button or any other button to turn on the unit. Turn off the port button to save battery power when not using a specific port.
- Read the LCD screen to confirm which port is turned on.
- The unit supports pass-through function, allowing you to charge devices while the power station is also charging.
How to confirm the 280Wh generator is turned ON or turned OFF
- CAR DC2 button is turned on: The cigarette lighter port (12V/8A) is turned on.
- DC1 button is turned on: The 3 DC ports (12V/3A) are turned on.
- USB button is turned on: The Type-C (60W) port is turned on.
- AC button is turned on: The 2 AC outlets are turned on.
How to confirm that all the switch buttons are turned off?
Turn on the "Display" button first to check if the related buttons are turned off. If no symbols (CAR DC2, USB TYPE-C, AC) are shown on the LCD display, it means the generator is turned off.
How does the fan work?
The power station has a built-in smart, silent cooling fan. The fan automatically turns on when the unit overheats to maintain optimal temperature. It turns off when the temperature decreases to a certain level.
- Why the fan still runs when the unit is not used or plugged into any devices?
Please ensure all switch buttons are turned off when not in use, as even without connected devices, there is power consumption. The fan will cycle on and off within 2 hours. The generator has an auto-sleep function to save battery energy. It activates economy mode and shuts off automatically to stop power output, and the fan will not turn on after 2 hours of inactivity. Please ensure all switch buttons are turned off when storing the unit for a long time. - Does the fan run and turn off during charging this generator?
When charging the generator and your devices simultaneously, the fan will turn on/off based on the critical temperature point. If the generator is charging without any devices connected, please confirm that all switch buttons are turned off.
FAQS and Solutions
- Why the battery power is always 97% or 95% with no loads after fully charged to 100%?
Please confirm all switch buttons are turned off when not in use, as there is power consumption even with no loads for up to 2 hours. - How to select the solar panel to charge the unit?
Ensure the optimum operating voltage (VMP) of an 80W-160W solar panel is within 24V. Higher wattage panels will charge faster. A 100W solar panel is recommended for cost-efficiency. - Does the unit have an auto-sleep energy-saving function?
Yes. The unit automatically activates energy-saving sleep mode when no devices are connected for 2 hours. It will shut down and stop power output if no devices are connected after 2 hours. - Can we use this battery to jump-start a car battery?
No. This unit is not suitable for jump-starting a car battery. - Can we charge the battery using a solar panel while charging our phone at the same time?
Yes, due to the unit's pass-through function. - What kinds of protection systems are on this unit?
Short-circuit protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, low-voltage protection, overload protection, and over-temperature protection. - Can we power an internet router with this unit?
Yes. The run time depends on the router's electrical current demands. - Can users replace the power station battery themselves?
No. Battery replacement must be performed by a qualified professional team, and used batteries need to be disposed of properly. - How to reset it if the generator locks up due to overload?
It's easy to reset: turn off the AC switch button and then turn it on again. - Why does the AC adapter get hot when charging the 300W generator?
It is normal for the power adapter to get hot when charging the generator. The AC power adapter has qualified UL certification. The surface temperature may reach approximately 149°F (65°C) in summer, which is within the scope of UL certification.
