For First Use
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment and insert batteries according to the correct polarity.
- App Installation: Scan the provided QR code or search for and download the "FitGo" app from your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- Registration: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. Launch the "FitGo" app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.
Important Safety & Usage Instructions
- Medical Implants: Do not use the Achaté scale if you have body implants such as a pacemaker, artificial limbs, contraceptive devices, or metal plates or screws. This may lead to device malfunction or inaccurate readings. Consult your physician if you have any doubts.
- Electrode Contact: Ensure good contact between your bare feet and the metal electrodes on the scale's surface. Insufficient contact will result in only your weight being displayed.
- Surface Placement: Place the Achaté scale on a flat, even, and firm surface. Avoid using it on carpets or other soft, uneven surfaces.
- Slippery Surface: The glass surface of the Achaté scale can become slippery when wet. Ensure both the scale's surface and your feet are completely dry before use.
- Water Resistance: This scale is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to moisture or liquids.
- Cleaning: Clean the Achaté scale using a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any chemical cleaning agents or abrasive materials.
- Storage: If the Achaté scale will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage or damage.
- Intended Use: This appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use within a home environment.
- Child Supervision: Children should always be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
