Quick Start
Step 1: Download and Install the Nighthawk App
On your mobile phone, scan the QR code to download the Nighthawk app and follow the setup instructions.
If you have previously used the Nighthawk app, navigate to the dashboard, tap the top-left menu, and select "SET UP A NEW NIGHTHAWK SYSTEM."

Step 2: Check Your Network Security with NETGEAR Armor™
NETGEAR Armor provides your home WiFi with an automatic security shield for all connected devices.
Tap the Security icon within the Nighthawk app to view your Armor subscription details and overall protection score.

Discover the full capabilities of the Nighthawk app, including pausing internet access, running speed tests, configuring smart parental controls, and more.

Overview
Device Components
The Nighthawk system includes a router and satellite units. Each unit features the following:
- Status LED (1): Indicates device status.
- Sync button (A): Used for synchronization.
- Reset button (B): Used to reset the device.
- Ethernet LAN ports (C): For wired network connections.
- Internet port (D): Connects to your modem.
- Power connector (E): For power supply.
Component variations: The MK92 package includes one satellite, while the MK93 package includes two satellites. Power adapters also vary: two for MK92, three for MK93.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter installation issues, consider these tips:
- Turn off your modem and router, disconnect them, reboot your modem, reconnect your router to the modem, and attempt installation with the Nighthawk app again.
- If app installation fails, manually install the router using the web interface at http://www.routerlogin.net.

Device Usage Restrictions (6 GHz Band)
This device operates in the 6 GHz band and is intended for indoor use only. Operation is prohibited on oil platforms, cars, trains, boats, and aircraft, with the exception of large aircraft flying above 10,000 feet. Transmitters operating in the 5.925-7.125 GHz band must not be used for control or communication with unmanned aircraft systems.
