Logitech G502 Proteus Core Scroll Wheel Replacement
The default scroll wheel is made of metal and may be a bit noisy for some. Follow this guide if you wish to remove your wheel or replace it.

Repair Steps
Step 1: Accessing the Mouse Feet
Flip the Logitech G502 Proteus Core mouse over to access its feet.

Step 2: Removing Mouse Feet
Use your fingers or a nylon spudger to carefully remove the mouse feet. This will expose the screws underneath.

Step 3: Removing Case Screws
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver bit to remove the indicated 12.5mm screws securing the mouse casing.

Step 4: Separating the Top Shell
Using a nylon spudger, carefully pry the top shell of the mouse away from the bottom section.

Step 5: Releasing the Fastener Pin
Employ a nylon spudger to push the fastener pin free, which secures the scroll wheel mechanism.

Step 6: Removing the Scroll Wheel
Once the pin is removed, use a Phillips #00 screwdriver bit to remove the 7.5mm screw from the scroll wheel holder.
With the plastic scroll wheel holder detached, the scroll wheel is now free and can be lifted out.
