IKEA "Golden, Silver, or Bronze Trolley?" Prize Contest Regulations

7. Contest Objective

Use the IKEA IT App to make purchases and pay directly at designated checkouts.

8. Participation Method

During the Promotional Period, Customers wishing to participate in this contest must make purchases in the Stores as follows:

• Open the IKEA IT App
• Select the IKEA store in Afragola or Baronissi (depending on your location at the time of purchase).
• Scan the products you wish to purchase
• Click "in-store checkout"
• Scan the QR Code at one of the self-checkout machines and pay

At the checkout, along with the purchase receipt, a second receipt will be issued, which must be attached to the participation card handed out by an IKEA employee immediately after payment. The card must be completed in all its parts, signed, and placed in the designated box in each Store, with the second receipt stapled to it.

Customers can participate multiple times in this contest, each time using a different card and receipt, but can only win 1 Prize, regardless of the number of cards or the Store where they were submitted. Purchases of IKEA Gift Cards are not valid for participation in the contest.

9. Prize Award Method

Among all valid entries, 3 winners and 5 reserves will be drawn for each Store (by the date indicated in point 3), in the presence of a notary or the competent consumer protection and public faith official (art. 9 of DPR October 26, 2001, n. 430). For each Store, 3 winners will be drawn who will be awarded:

• 1st drawn: "Golden Trolley"
• 2nd drawn: "Silver Trolley"
• 3rd drawn: "Bronze Trolley"

If a participant wins multiple prizes in this contest, they will only receive the prize of greater value. In case of equal prize values (i.e., if the participant entered at both Stores and won the same prize), the prize drawn first chronologically will be awarded. Any prize not awarded to a winner will be assigned to a reserve drawn, in order of drawing. Winners cannot contest the awarded prize, nor request its cash equivalent or exchange/substitution/return for any reason. However, if the Promoter is unable to deliver the won prize, it reserves the right to substitute the announced prizes with prizes of equal or greater value (circular 28/3/2002 point 9.6).

Winners cannot claim any compensation for damages resulting from the acceptance and/or use of the prize.

9.1 Reserves

5 reserve names will be drawn for each Store for any case where a prize cannot be awarded to a winning nominee, or if a nominated winner has already been drawn as a winner. Prizes not awarded to winners will be assigned to reserve nominees in the order they were drawn.

10. Notification and Prize Delivery

Winners will be notified via email or phone number indicated on the participation card. Winners must confirm acceptance of the prize within 5 days of receiving the notification, following the instructions in the email or communicated by phone. If a winner does not confirm prize acceptance within the specified terms, a reserve will be contacted. If reserves also fail to confirm acceptance within the specified terms, the prize will be donated to a charity.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility if:

• A winner's mailbox is full or disabled, preventing the validation/notification email from being delivered.
• The email address provided by the participant is non-existent, incorrect, or incomplete.
• The prize notification/instructions email lands in the spam or junk folder.
• The winner does not view the email with the necessary instructions to claim and use the prize.
• The winner's device is not protected by security measures that prevent unauthorized access to their email inbox.
• There is no response to phone calls after five attempts.

ATTENTION! - Depending on your personal IT security settings and those defined by "internet providers" (e.g., Libero, Alice, Fastweb, Yahoo, Gmail etc.), some email communications, even if they do not contain suspicious information or sensitive data and are constantly guaranteed by Antivirus and AntiSpam filters, may be recognized as SPAM or junk mail.

In case of non-utilization of the prize for reasons not attributable to the Promoter, the prize will be considered awarded, and the winner will have no further claims. Prizes awarded to winners cannot be subject to commercial or advertising exchanges. Prizes must be collected in person by the winners at the Store where they won, at their own care and expense, by October 15, 2025, at the latest. Upon collection, the winner will be required to sign a declaration confirming prize receipt, upon request by IKEA staff. This signature will be made after verifying the accuracy of the personal data on the document and presenting a valid identification document. Only after these steps will the prize be delivered to the winner.

11. Recourse

The Promoter does not intend to exercise the right of recourse for withholding tax as provided by art. 30 of DPR n. 600 of 29/09/73 and will bear the related tax burden.

12. Beneficiary Charity

Unclaimed or unassigned prizes, unlike refused ones, will be donated to the charity Litografi Vesuviani Cooperativa Sociale, Via Sandriana 16, 80046 San Giorgio a Cremano (NA) CF 03843961214.

13. Modification, Abbreviation, Extension, Suspension, and Cancellation of the Prize Promotion

IKEA Italia Retail S.r.l., acknowledging that the publication of this regulation entails the application of articles 1989, 1990, and 1991 of the Italian Civil Code for the obligations undertaken towards eligible participants, reserves the right to modify, at any time, the content of the articles of this regulation in whole or in part, ensuring that the modifications made do not in any way infringe upon the acquired rights of the participants in the contest as stated in art. 10, paragraph 4 of DPR 430/2001. Should a modification of this regulation become necessary, participants will be informed of the changes through the same methods or equivalent forms by which they became aware of this regulation.

14. Personal Data Processing

Information to be provided pursuant to art. 13, European Regulation 679/2016 (the "GDPR")

Personal data voluntarily provided will be processed by the Promoter and the Appointed Representative solely for the purpose of carrying out all phases connected to this prize contest. Furthermore, they will be processed to comply with administrative and other mandatory legal requirements in our country or EU decisions and will be stored for the period imposed by such regulations. The provision of the requested data is mandatory for the aforementioned purposes; failure to provide it will prevent the execution of the contest activities and compliance with legal obligations. With free, specific, and optional consent from the participant, data may also be processed for marketing purposes, i.e., for sending promotional and commercial communications related to the Holder's products and/or services, through automated tools (e.g., email, SMS) and traditional methods (e.g., paper mail, operator calls). The lack of consent for marketing purposes does not in any way prejudice the possibility of participating in the contest. The data subject may revoke their consent at any time by writing to the email address indicated in this notice. Personal data will be made available to the competent consumer protection and public faith official for the territory as necessary for the contest. The retention of data for contest management purposes will be limited to the period of completion of its individual phases and as required by current regulations. The data controller is IKEA Italia Retail S.r.l., with its registered office in Carugate (MI), Strada Provinciale 208 n. 3. The persons authorized to process the data are the employees of the Store's payment department and the IKEA call center. Pursuant to articles 15-21 of the GDPR, by writing to the controller at the aforementioned postal address or to the email privacy.it@ingka.ikea.com, you can exercise your rights of consultation, modification, cancellation, and erasure, limitation of data processing, or object to its processing for legitimate reasons or for informational and promotional purposes. In case of revocation of consent, which can be provided at any time, it is understood that this does not prejudice the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent previously given or on alternative consent mechanisms permitted by law. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority to assert their rights. By writing to the postal address indicated above or sending an email to privacy.it@ingka.ikea.com, you can also request the complete and updated list of data processors. Finally, you have the right to request data portability, i.e., to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format to transmit it directly to another data controller, so that they can process it within the limits established by the interested party.

15. Miscellaneous

Participation in the prize promotion implies the participant's unconditional and total acceptance of the rules and clauses contained in this regulation, without limitation.
