Upgrade Instructions

For better product performance, customers are recommended to upgrade the control panel to v1.2.9 build20240621 first. Then, navigate to "Panel Setting" [arrow] "Maintenance" [arrow] "Detector & Peripheral Upgrade" to upgrade the detectors and peripherals.

Step-by-step Upgrade Process:

AX PRO Main Interface Navigation

The AX PRO system interface displays tabs for "Area", "Device", and "Status". A search or upgrade icon (represented by '[Search/Upgrade Icon]') is available for initiating actions.

Accessing Upgrade Menu

Within the AX PRO settings menu, users can find options such as "User Management", "System", "Network Camera", "Area", "Communication Parameters", "Maintenance", "Reboot Device", "Device Upgrade", and "Detector & Peripheral Upgrade". The "Detector & Peripheral Upgrade" option is selected to proceed.

Device Version Check

The "Device Version" screen shows the current firmware version of the AX PRO device (e.g., "Current Version: V1.2.9 build 240516") and the available "Latest Version" (e.g., "V1.2.9 build 240621"). An "Upgrade" button is present. A warning advises: "The device is being upgraded, please do not power off and disconnect from the network."

Alternative Device Interface (AX PRO F9)

A similar settings menu structure is presented for other AX PRO models, such as "AX PRO F9", also providing access to the "Detector & Peripheral Upgrade" function.

No Devices Available for Upgrade

If no devices are available for upgrade, a message will appear: "No device to upgrade. Please check for newer versions first."

Upgrading Detectors and Peripherals

When devices are available for upgrade, the screen provides recommendations: "For proper upgrade, it is recommended that Tri-X devices be upgraded with the signal strength above 80, and Cam-X devices be upgraded with the signal strength above 100." A list of "Upgradable Device(s)" is displayed, including details like "Wireless Zone 5", "Latest Version: V1.4.5", and "Signal Strength: 205". Users can choose to "Upgrade" individual devices or "Upgrade All".
