BRACKET INSTALLATION: 1

1.) Unscrew the screw with a 4mm hex wrech and pull out the strap.

3.) Tighten the screw with a 4mm hex wrech until the bracket is snug and will not move. Then cut away the excess strap if

4.) Insert the lock like shown in image 3. You will hear a click when the lock has successfully been inserted into the bracket.

5.) To remove press down on the release button (B) and slide

t6he lock up.

6.) If you would like to mount the

lock horizontaily, repeat step 1. Then

carefully pull the strap out from the

bracket body (C). Once removed,

turn (C) 1/4 of a turn so it looks

like image 6. Then slide the strap

back through the strap port. Follow

the same as steps 1 - 4 to mount

your bracket on the bike. When

completed the cable should look

like the example in image 6.

PROPER BICYCLE LOCK UP:
Place the bike against an anchored stationary object. Place the Kryptonite cable around the stationary object and through the bike frame. Remove key. Check the lock before leaving the bike to be sure it is properly secured. Whenever possible, capture the anchored stationary object, the frame, and rear wheel within the cable.

Tips:
· Always lock a vehicle in a well-lit area with high foot traffic.
· Always lock a vehicle to a solid object that the vehicle cannot be lifted over.
· Make sure the object that the vehicle is locked to cannot be cut.
· Where possible always make sure the vehicle frame and both wheels are secure.

· Lock according to value of the vehicle frame, back wheel, front wheel.
· Get the tightest fit possible! The less room inside the u-lock or chain the better as it makes it difficult for thieves to use their tools.
· Position the lock off the ground with the keyhole facing down.

CARE & MAINTENANCE Lubricate the lock several times a year to keep the lock in its best working condition. Always use a lubricant that has only a silicone, graphite or Teflon base. Face the lock cylinder upright and spray or pour the lubricant into the cylinder. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Place a rag on the workstation and turn the lock over onto the rag for a few minutes.
Note: Do not use WD-40! WD-40 is a solvent, not a lubricant and will remove lubricant in the cylinder.
LIGHTED KEY: If the lock comes with a lighted key:
TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES: Remove both screws and lift off key cover and replace the batteries (two 1.5v lithium batteries (AG10, 389, 189, LR1130 or LR54) with the "+" facing up. Make sure the contact spring is properly fitted into the underside of the button and replace both key cover screws.
TO REMOVE AND/OR REPLACE THE KEY BLADE FROM THE LED CASE: Turn the LED case over to the backside and unscrew the 2 screws. Hold LED case in one hand, then pull upwards on the key ring of the Key Blade to completely remove.
TO REINSERT A NEW KEY BLADE INTO THE LED CASE: Slide the Key Blade into the opening of LED case until you hear a click. Be sure the stamp key code area is facing you. Insert the two screws and tighten clockwise.

ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE

POUR CHANGER LES PILES : Retirer les deux vis et soulever le couvercle de la clé et remplacer les piles (deux piles au lithium 1.5v (AG10, 389, 189, LR1130 ou LR54) avec le "+" vers le haut. Assurez-vous que le ressort de contact est correctement monté dans la partie inférieure du bouton et replacer les deux vis du couvercle de la clé.
POUR RETIRER ET/OU POUR REMPLACER LA LAME DE LA CLÉ DU BOITIER DEL : Tourner le boitier DEL vers l'arrière et dévisser les deux vis. Tenir le boitier d'une main, puis tirez vers le haut sur l'anneau de la clé de la lame de la clé pour l'enlever complètement.
POUR LA RÉINSERTION DE LA LAME DE LA CLÉ DANS LE BOITIER DE LA DEL : Faites glisser la lame de la clé dans l'ouverture du boitier DEL, jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un clic. Assurez-vous que la zone du timbre du code de la clé vous fait face. Insérer les deux vis et serrer dans le sens horaire.

PARA REMOVER E/OU SUBSTITUIR A LÂMINA DA CHAVE DA CAPA LED: Virar a capa LED para a parte traseira e desapertar os 2 parafusos. Segure a capa LED com uma mão e, em seguida, puxe para cima o chaveiro da lâmina da chave para remover completamente.

2.) Wrap strap around tube and press it slightly in insertion area (A).
3.) Tighten the screw with a 4mm hex wrech until the bracket is snug and will not move. Then cut away the excess strap if necessary.
4.) Insert the lock like shown in image 3. You will hear a click when the lock has successfully been inserted into the bracket.
5.) To remove press down on the release button (B) and slide the lock up.
6.) If you would like to mount the lock horizontaily, repeat step 1. Then carefully pull the strap out from the bracket body (C). Once removed, turn (C) 1/4 of a turn so it looks like image 6. Then slide the strap back through the strap port. Follow the same as steps 1 - 4 to mount your brack on the bike. When completed the cable should look like the example in image 6.

CURA E MANUTENZIONE:

PER SOSTITUIRE LE BATTERIE: Rimuovere entrambe le viti e togliere il

Tips:

VERLICHT SLEUTEL:
Indien het slot met een verlichte sleutel geleverd is:
OM DE BATTERIJEN TE WISSELEN: Verwijder beide schroeven en til de klep op om de batterijen te vervangen (twee 1.5 V lithium batterijen (AG10, 389, 189, LR1130 of LR54) zorgend dat de "+" naar boven wijst. Zorg dat het contact veertje goed gemonteerd is op de onderkant van de knop en plaats beide schroeven terug.
OM HET SLEUTELBLAD VAN DE LED-CASE TE VERWIJDEREN EN / OF TE VERVANGEN: Draai de LED case over aan de achterzijde en verwijder de 2 schroeven. Hou LED case in één hand en trek aan de sleutelring van de Sleutel Blade naar boven om het volledig te verwijderen.
