Printer Setup Guide

1. Step 1: Unpack Contents

   Carefully unpack the printer and accessories. Ensure you have the BIXOLON XD3-40d printer, power adapter, power cord, USB cable, and a sample label roll.

2. Step 2: Connect Power

   Connect the power adapter to the printer's power port. Then, plug the power cord into the adapter and into a grounded electrical outlet.

3. Step 3: Open Printer Cover

   Lift the printer cover to access the media compartment. This is typically done by pressing a release lever or button.

4. Step 4: Load Label Roll

   Place the label roll inside the printer. Ensure the labels feed from the bottom of the roll. Guide the paper edge onto the spindle and secure it.

5. Step 5: Close Printer Cover

   Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place, securing the label roll.

6. Step 6: Feed Label

   Gently feed the leading edge of the label through the slot located at the front of the printer.

7. Step 7: Exit Label

   The label should now be positioned correctly, ready for printing. Gently pull the label out from the printer.

8. Step 8: Ready to Use
