Overview
This guide provides setup instructions for the Logitech G413 SE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
Connection
Connect the keyboard to your computer using the integrated USB cable. The keyboard is compatible with both laptops and desktop computers.

Shortcut Keys
The FN key, located on the bottom row of the keyboard, can be used in combination with other keys to access special functions.
Function Key Shortcuts
Press and hold the FN key, then press one of the function keys (F1-F12) to activate its assigned function:
- FN + F1: [Brightness Down]
- FN + F2: [Brightness Up]
- FN + F3: [Search]
- FN + F4: [Calculator]
- FN + F5: [Play/Pause Media]
- FN + F6: [Previous Track]

Keyboard Layout Overview
The Logitech G413 SE features a standard QWERTY layout with dedicated function keys, media controls, and a numeric keypad. The layout is organized as follows:
Top Section
Escape (ESC) key, followed by Function keys F1 through F12. These function keys have secondary media and system controls accessible via the FN key. The top right corner includes keys like PRNT SCR, LOCK (Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock indicators), and P/B (Pause/Break).
Main Typing Area
This includes the standard alphanumeric keys arranged in rows: numbers 1! to 0), symbols, and letters Q through P, A through L, and Z through M. Modifier keys such as TAB, CAPS LOCK, LEFT SHIFT, LEFT CTRL, and LEFT ALT are present on the left side. The right side features RIGHT SHIFT, RIGHT CTRL, and RIGHT ALT.
Navigation and Multimedia Keys
The middle section includes keys like INS, HOME, PG UP, DEL, END, and PG DN. The function keys (F1-F12) also double as multimedia controls when pressed with the FN key, such as media playback, volume control, and brightness adjustment.
Numeric Keypad
A standard numeric keypad is located on the right side, featuring NUM LOCK, division (/), multiplication (*), subtraction (-), addition (+), and the ENTER key, along with number keys 0 through 9.
FN Key
The FN key is crucial for accessing secondary functions of the F keys and other special features like locking the Windows key.
Logitech Branding
The Logitech 'G' logo is prominently displayed on the top right of the keyboard.
Locking Windows Key
To prevent accidental presses of the Windows key during gameplay:
Press FN + Windows Key to lock or unlock the Windows key.
Lighting Patterns
The G413 SE keyboard features customizable backlighting.
Changing Lighting Patterns
Press FN + F12 to cycle through the five onboard lighting patterns:
- 1. Static max brightness
- 2. Serpent
- 3. Reactive
- 4. Random Lights
- 5. Breathing
Adjusting Lighting Speed
Use the arrow keys in combination with the FN key to adjust the speed of the lighting effects:
FN + Up Arrow [⬆️]: Increases pattern speed.
FN + Down Arrow [⬇️]: Decreases pattern speed.
