Read these instructions fully before assembly and installation. Ensure there are no defective or missing parts. Kanto is not liable for property damage or injury caused by incorrect mounting, assembly, lifting, or use.
CAUTION
The maximum loading weight is 150 lb (68 kg). Use only with indicated maximum weights. Products heavier than the maximum weights may result in instability and injury. The wall must support more than 5 times the combined weight of the television and mount. Do not use this product for any purpose other than mounting a VESA compliant TV on a vertical surface as outlined. This mount is not certified by or affiliated with VESA. Improper installation may cause damage or serious injury. Do not mount on steel stud walls or cinder block walls. Consult a qualified installer if unsure about your wall type.

IMPORTANT!: Please read this entire document before attempting assembly.
Step 1: Select TV Screws and Spacers
Selecting Screws: The back of your TV has 4 screw holes in a square or rectangular pattern. Kanto provides various screw sizes and lengths. This guide helps you select the right screws. You will only use 4 screws to attach your TV; the rest are not needed.
Selecting Spacers: Plastic spacers (I-K) are provided in 3 thicknesses. Use them to accommodate curved TVs, TVs with recessed mount holes, or protrusions. Spacers can also prevent screws from going too deep and damaging your TV. You may not need spacers for your TV.
Step 2: Select Spacers for Irregular TVs
Spacers can be used to provide clearance around protrusions on the back of your TV, or to accommodate a curved TV. You may need to use longer screws.
Diagram Description: Shows side views of a TV back with mounting holes. A close-up illustrates how spacers (I-K) are placed between the TV bracket and the TV to create clearance.
Step 3: Attach TV Brackets
WARNING: Do not lay the TV face down on its front. Use a wall or TV stand.
Attach the U-shaped TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected screws (A-H) and optional spacers (I-K). Use whichever holes and slots work with your TV's VESA pattern.
Diagram Description: Illustrates attaching the brackets to the TV back with screws (P) and optional spacers (I-K). Shows the use of screws A-H.
Step 4: Assemble Wall Plate
Assemble the wall plate components as shown in the diagrams.
Diagram Description: Shows two main wall plate sections being joined together using screws and a 10mm socket.
Step 5a: Mount Wall Plate Assembly (Wood Stud Wall)
Mounting Height: Depends on TV size, viewing position, and personal preference.
CAUTION: Make sure the supporting surface will support the load limits outlined in the caution on page two. Tighten lag bolts (M) until the wall plate is snug against the wall. Do not over-tighten. Each lag bolt must be located in the middle of a wood stud.
WARNING: Do not use concrete anchors in drywall or wood stud walls.
Diagram Description: Illustrates locating wood studs with a stud finder, drilling pilot holes (7/32" or 5.5 mm), and securing the wall plate with lag bolts (M) into the studs. Shows a 2" (50 mm) depth for the stud.
Step 5b: Mount Wall Plate Assembly (Concrete Wall)
Mounting Height: Depends on TV size, viewing position, and personal preference.
CAUTION: Make sure the concrete or brick wall is at least 4" thick. Ensure the anchor is seated completely flush with the concrete surface, even if there is another layer of material like drywall. If drywall is over 5/8" thick, custom lag bolts must be used. Concrete must be a minimum of 2000 psi in density.
Diagram Description: Illustrates mounting on a concrete wall. Shows drilling holes (3/8" or 10 mm), inserting concrete anchors (N), and securing the wall plate with lag bolts (M). The anchor should be flush with the surface.
WARNING: Do not use concrete anchors in drywall or wood stud walls.
Step 6: Hang TV
Lift the TV and attach it to the mounted wall plate. Ensure the brackets securely engage with the wall plate.
Diagram Description: Shows two people lifting a TV and hooking it onto the wall plate assembly. A close-up shows the engagement mechanism with the security screw (P).
Step 7: Level TV
Adjust the TV to ensure it is level. Use the adjustment screws on the mount.
Diagram Description: Shows the TV mounted on the wall plate. Arrows indicate how to adjust the TV left/right and up/down to achieve a level position. A close-up shows the adjustment screw.
Step 8: Finalize Adjustments
Make final adjustments to the TV's position and tilt. The tilt range is approximately +12° to -2°.
Diagram Description: Shows the TV tilted on the mount. An arrow indicates the tilt adjustment screw and the tilt angle range.
Step 9: Remove TV
Follow these steps to safely remove the TV from the mount.
Diagram Description: Illustrates the process of disengaging the TV from the wall plate, likely by releasing a safety lock and lifting the TV off.
